So, it's going to be Unity Engine almost certainly. The links are there if you look at the art and do a small amount of research. Let's see what kind of magic they can work with it.

Besides the obvious - I'm curious about how they're going to handle alpha/beta access and in particular what they're going to do when they're in mid to late beta and they run out of money. Will they have a subscription based beta?

in what ways will your new game be similar to the original everquest? in what ways will it be different?

I'm going to work yours and tads in (though they're both partially covered by mine to some extent) and cross my fingers he gets to at least a couple I've sent.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to have a solid, interesting art style/direction and not have it look like a fucking new-school tattoo. If the game is full of shoulderpads and swords like that, then fuck them in the ass with a shaft of freshly peeled ginger root. I want some fantasy art/style like Game of Thrones, not some 80's cartoon. Then I actually looked at some art/images of He-Man and Thundercat cartoon swords, and they're more plausible, interesting and most importantly cooler looking than that shit in the concept art. Doesn't it embarrass artists when actual cartoons make what should be badass fantasy art look childish and cartoony?

Ask about first person. I mean we know they're going to just go with third-person because... well they won't have a good reason, they'll just do it because that's what's done in WoW + since. But at least ask?
