Linkedin still says SOE. Hopefully he sticks to crafting if he is on Pantheon. VG crafting in beta. The kamelott, kdw, content he added post acquisition was awful.

I dunno. Got to cut him a break. Sony fucked him to start with. Like, ONE DUDE, one dev for an entire game and 100 people screaming at him a day for this fix and that fix. I can understand how he must have felt. He did try from what I saw.

Yep. He is not well liked. It wouldn't stop me playing as long he wasn't involved in lore or major design decisions outside of crafting. When he wad just working on VG crafting he was fine. You can find some of his old interviews on the net. But he got arrogant and unfunny when he became lead dev.
"A classic take" suggests further moving the needle toward the EQ1/DOAC style of gaming.
I am not saying hes completely terrible, but his rep is worse than McQuaids atleast with the VG crowd anyway. I would say if hes on it, it would hurt the KS more than help it.
Still no mention of this being an RPG... I hope they have some decent lore for their game, as silly as it sounds that's actually important to me.
