Gentlemen, I know it is sacrilegious, but can we actually talk about pantheon for a second?
So I acquired an account and have actually played this "game" fr fr.
I would say that it's about where monsters and memories is, development wise. Its got somethings memories doesn't, but memories is ahead in other areas so it's kind of a wash.
MNM is a part time passion project of like 3 dudes after-work for the last few years while pantheon has been in development for like 13 years and for most of that time it was just a scam for oxycodone money but they are about the same level of complete which is "not at all"
MNM has far more world, zones, and races done (pantheon is a single zone still) but pantheon has more classes and trade skills, along with a basic tutorial.
Pantheon only has 1 race (human) with no customization yet. It also has human model but skinny (elf), human model but skinny and short (halfling) and human model but blue (dark myr). Must assume these are all place holders.
What it does do well is that most of the classes and class mechanics are in. I think classes are more important than races in development so this was the right choice but it does make the world feel bland. It does have quests in kinda but they are mostly for tradeskills (also in but placeholder implementation, everything is interact with this kitchen table to do stuff)
I think both MNM and Pantheon are aiming for embers adrift level of polish (ie not aaa) but they are both years away from embers level quality and content sad to say.
