Completely. This game is awesome.I was thinking about checking this out and then looked at the classes + abilities on their website. Seems boring as fuck? Am i wrong here?

Mr. Sox has done a couple podcasts and a live stream that do a lot to explain it, just use the search function to find them. There's 1000+ pages of content here. Please do elaborate. I’d love to have something to play until M&M early access.

Games nowhere near release. Anyone that says it is, is full of shit or coping. Go back and watch some of Zaide 's streams and you'll see what I mean. Its very much the look of a game from 2010, without even having a goal other than to level up at the moment.Oh. I see.
Anyone with an actual opinion?
They’re fully opening “early access” next month. We should see some pretty good videos of how shit it is when that happens. The best part is this isn’t like most games early accessed where you just keep playing into release, it’s going to have periodic complete wipes.Games nowhere near release. There really isnt an alternative, either. I'm playing Ashes of Creation, and that game.. and it is a game at this point - is still years away from release, too. I think we're just expecting too much from Indy studios at the moment. M&M just seems like a much more finished game, I assume, because they arent trying recreate the wheel.
In all seriousness, If they maintain funding and their current development rate they are about 3-5 years from release. most classes are in but the variance in classes is just different spell lists and different armor types can be worn. there's just a few glimmers of unique class mechanics such as Monks have different "fists" based on current energy pool remaining but for the most part every class is just a generic caster with different spell lists.Oh. I see.

For races, there is basically 3 looks right now (There is no customization options at all). So you have human look, Elf look (skinny human), halfling is the same model as Elf but just half as tall, and Dark Myr which are just blue/green humans.
There's maybe 2 zones if you can call them that. most armors don't have unique skins or anything and helmets are bugged the graphic comes out of your neck and dick.
This game is basically in the very earliest stages of development, lots of napkin ideas are being pencilled in for classes but most of the work has not been started.
