Picked it up a week ago today, pretty sure I got my moneys worth, no sub to worry about, and EA isn't ending anytime soon.

Don't make this mistake. I'm enjoying playing this game, but I know I really shouldn't be. But by god, everything being camped and people cussing each other out over completely meaningless things, it feels like home to an EQ player.

That's only Steam and not the regular client. My two servers are flooded at prime time.

We did Black Rose guards in Halnir Cave last night. Exp was fantastic, and the loot even better. They drop mad coin. There’s a Crew Boss named that was giving anywhere between 45-53 Silver per group member as the split. I went from 3.5 gold when we started to over 9 gold by the time we finished, and we only did about 2 hours in there. Was pretty impressed. Can't wait to go back tonight!

Ya, that's the forum (or mostly) guild.
Having a lot more fun in this game then I was expecting. The new player experience is pretty rough, us old school EQers can get by, but it's going to def turn off a lot of people, which worries me about the game being successful. Once you get things figured out though, the game is a blast! hate that i'm spending so much time playing it in EA lol
For those higher levels, i'm curious, are items no drop? So far the weapons/armor i'm seeing drop off mobs are all tradeable, but i'm only 12ish.

Some of them will fight to the bitter end rather than have a good time in game. I don't even want to know why anymore.

Servers don't show up sometimes when they are very full I think, at least I've experienced that. They were probably just locking in their spot.

By my napkin math if they've got ~4k concurrent and ~1400 reviews ar $40 each. They have made at least $500k from EA so far. Probably a fair bit more. So I'd say the game will safely reach launch now at a minimum. So far Im having a great time. Most of my gripes are stuff like the inability to relearn professions if you screw up etc. Things I suspect will get fixed later
