I cant imagine these people, like myself, will continue to be fully invested past that time frame. The game will last much longer for those people that log in less than that.


But if you're on the fence because you dont really play these types of games, I wouldnt waste my time. I know a couple people that tried it and Ive never seen them play this type of game before and they didnt last past the first day. "What do you mean theres no map?"

I'm just not certain how flushed out the content beyond 20 is, Halnirs Cave appears to go mid 20's based off named levels, but I have no idea how many groups could be there at once, and there are camps listed in the 30-40 range, but again I don't know how flushed out that stuff is, or how many groups can be active in a particular range (I hope this makes sense lol)

If someone were to get a solid static group going, research and spoil every bit of info on how to get to "endgame" and play 10 hours a day on a single character I could see a month of content, maybe.

I'm only 12, and still haven't been to HC, but still have no clue how to get around parts of AVP because it hasn't sunk into memory or I haven't actually been to that area on the map yet. We have no steady groups going within the guild. Not complaining everyone including myself still running around figuring it out. I could see getting a couple months just out of the monk in it's current state, but honestly I'd probally like to level a DL up as well at a minimum.

It's really up to VR beyond that, holidays are over, are we going to see new content, or existing content expanded in the next 3 months? If not, then I'll just come back to it later on. Likely happen anyway.

I played WoW "Early Access" too for the record, had to do the same there, and they had constant updates. It's inevitable.

Well, it has been released, so it has successfully moved beyond vaporware. Believe me, I am as shocked as you are. For an early beta it is pretty fun. It's rough around the edges for sure, but for a tiny tiny dev team after 13 years it is as good as some D tier MMOs. If they can get enough $$$ to hire some competent devs it might become a good game once they polish it up and get their servers solidified.

I mean, if people are getting 150-300 hours out of a $40 EA game, that’s pretty good. It’s not a thousands of hours EQ but still. I’m still surprised it happened, I honestly thought it would never see a public release.

I did a massive cleanup of discord and steam. I had over 1000 friends and had no idea who people were that are always changing their names. If your name didn't match your forum handle you got booted.

Ok that was fun. Was just crafting a bit, Heko set me up with some bags and then Grydor invited me to a group and leveled from 4 to 7.

Great times. Really brings back the old days and fun :)
