IDK why everyone keeps saying "unfortunately" or "sadly" in reference to Brad being our only current hope for a decent MMO. He may not be the best management or finance guy in the industry, but homeboy has vision (tm) and I'd take him over ole Ponytail, some Asian suit, or Tasos or something. Basically it's like this, say what you want about the man but..

Funny that "one sentence" was referenced when this thread was started and all speculation commenced based on multiple tweets originating from Brad himself. There's a very clear picture of what's trying to be created here, I just hope the upcoming Kickstarter shows the promise many of us are looking for. It didn't take those tweets to make me dream and wish someone would attempt it either, I full on admit to being hopelessly addicted to the idea of an old school MMO.

i think a lot of us are. now, if only the teenie bopper, ADHD generation would just stop crying about how every MMO has to be ez mode and instant gratification or they won't play the game for their usual week and then quit and then bitch again about how every game that isn't like the 20th one they just quit won't succeed if it isn't exactly the same.

I need to roll up to someone whos half dead fighting a lion they need to make patchwork armor and harmtouch them out of spite and steal their pelt. Make that happen and I'll buy a founder's package with my girlfriend's credit card.

We don't need them.... we can have our niche MMO and they can have the rest... its not like we are looking for 2 old school MMOs with modern tech, just 1.

If I didn't post in the political thread I would be about a +8. I in fact am still getting negs on this thread from my good friends in the political thread dropping by just for the hell of it. THANKS Eomer! Hell someone negged my wife for stating she wasn't sure when PQ's were invented but she enjoyed the EQ2 ones. Lots of itchy trigger fingers around here. People drink to much coffee or road rage then come to the forums and go off on everyone. Keeps it entertaining. Like racing for Whoshi then training the other guild. Good times.
