I like how the lore refers to the players. Makes me wonder if allusions to items like the Manastone, FBSS, Fungi Tunic, etc will be in the game too since it refers to reclaiming lost items.

If that was being offered don't you think they would of just said that from the start? You don't slow play a 30 day cash grab event. If they had access to Unrest, Befallen, Guk, Blackburrow, Qeynos, ect, ect. you don't think they would have mentioned it?

That $45 pledge should have been gone days ago. That's the primary pledge for people who want to be there from the beginning but it still needs over 100 more contributors. Still think they should have started with $25 digital copy, $35 beta/copy, and $45-50 for hard copy plus alpha. I'm also kind of surprised the $100 pledge doesn't have more backers. Probably should include a 2nd mount since the friend will hate to get nothing while you've gotten several benefits.
re update #11, is it just me or does it sound like the same thing as rifts? gonna need more info on gameplay/mechanics if this ks is going to succeed. i've thought about upping my pledge to the new 375 tier, but eh

Rifts were fun until you found out the mobs just stood around doing jack shit once they reached the only point they could capture. Have fun clearing out a 200 mob pileup off the soul stone or w/e those things were called.
PC Gamer didn't do them a lot of favors by putting the Kingdom Come: Deliverance story and kickstarter right above the Pantheon one. A study in a good way to start a kickstarter.

Is there really much incentive to donate at the higher tiers though? Do I want a Taurokian Warhorse from the Ogre world of Gruundark? I mean maybe tell us about the travel, or hell elaborate on the Ogre world of Gruundark, I would like to know about it. Maybe show the tentative zone layout if there is one, or just a list of zone names. How many starting areas are we planning on having. They should be able to provide so much information without having to really dive down into detail, we don't need to know what NPC's are in each zone, or level ranges, or item drops.
Sure dropping $45-55 dollars or even $100 isn't much but funding a group so they can hire a group to develop something to raise more money to then sell. Can you really be that excited about naming an item or designing a quest in this world since we still don't even know if this world will ever be. I mean lets say the kickstarter is successful those are still some giant fucking obstacles to overcome. We haven't even gotten to the level of "To much brown"
Kickstater Done Right
Seriously take a look at a group trying to achieve the same goal, old school developer, making an old school game like he did in the past. Look at the difference in what is offered by them prior to asking for money, look at the tiers, watch the video see that they are sincere, they take the time to thank you for supporting them. They have pictures and backgrounds on the team who is in place helping out. This team was already sold prior to this. Brads team willing to join on the condition of money from a kickstarter aren't sold into his dream and they are in direct contact with the guy. How you can expect a great game from people who are less passionate about the product than the people they are asking money from.
Tell us our conspiracy theories about allusions to old EQ/VG content being in the game is all true and we can expect stuff analogous to the Manastone and Fungi Tunic to be in the game....
