I used to have my infant son, feeding him while playing EQ. He turned out OK. Hes 12 now and plays games like daddy.
Only one 10k left and I think that is somebody on the team it was an early backer. I think it is safe.

Meh I'm no shill. Hell, I decided to interact on this thread to avoid that type of blind fanboyism. Anyone who played EQ back in '99-'01 knows FoH, but I was on The Nameless so I only paid attention to LoS back in the day. I was actually in Sanctuary when the nut job leadership, Fell was his name, decided to start and fail the 10th ring event just to depop Dain while LoS was fighting him. Genjiro will remember that shit show I'm sure.
Anyway I'm in for $45, and I'm staying there unless I go up. No reason to bail out, but no incentive to up the ante at present either. We can all agree this entire process has been sketchy, but fuck it man, I want an old school MMO.
I mean, I'm one of those EQClassic nut jobs so of course I'm in, but that doesn't mean blind faith and undying loyalty. I just don't see anything even close to this anywhere else, and I've been clamoring for this so long, it's a "put you money where your mouth is" situation for me.

At this point i dont think their "content release plan" will get this funded. We will probably have all the information that should have been there day 1 about 2 weeks before the end of the KS. Until then i dont see the daily funding picking up substantially. And how often do they plan to introduce new pledge-tiers to get backers to upgrade? Maybe they think if we can only get 1600 backers to pay 500 each we will make it?

The guy working on that screenshot, many hours ago, was quoted as saying that's not really night, just some shit he was messing around with. Nothing to discuss.
$200k in 10 days ? It's dead Jim, discussing it is as relevant as discussing shadowbane at this point.
Even if it blew the doors off funding, I'd have doubts that Brad's track record would get him any good development talent, and on a shoestring budget if they somehow squeak over the line ?
The guy taking the screenshots probably isn't the guy that made the captions; that and if they had EverQuest style night there wouldn't be much to show anyway.
