Nothing too exciting. Was a Russian Linguist attached to the 3rd ACR. Medically discharged before my initial contract was up. Now I'm just a disabled vet like Hershel from The Walking Dead.

@Dahkoht: do they even make open world pvp anymore? I've given up. Though once my new system is built I might try FFXIV just for the anime-slut graphics.

I need to see what he answers this go around first and I need to see what this Kickstarter's scope is, then I'll have a wealth of other questions to send his way. Will this project still be a viable option if the Kickstarter falls through?

Isn't he supposed to make an official statement this week? Or was that last week?

He gave an estimate that the Kickstarter would be up in aboutthree weeks. That was about two and a half weeks ago so by that timeline, it could launch this week I suppose. It wasn't anything set in stone though, but I imagine we'll see something this month.

Yeah, and its the same low rez 256 texture/ cartoonish fest in D3, it looks awful too. Corpses alsodisappear because you know in 2013 your PC or console can't handle it... But the "gamedesign" in Wow was well done, even if i dislike cartoon in games.
Now that we know EQ:next looks like a disney / pixar shit, we can only hope VisionMan won't choose a cartoonish style for his game.

Only if he hired Romero. Too bad it's not April 1st. A Mcquaid-Romero 'We're making you our bitch' kickstarter campaign would have infinite potential.

I'd set the bar low on a Mcquaid Kickstarter campaign, but look how successful Garriot's one was. That surprised me, and his game actually is coming along nicely.

EQ's graphics were good for its time, though. Shadow of the Avatar or whatever's visuals just looks really generic and bad.

/agree that thing does look pretty horrible. I think the reason is Garriott is all hung up on making it playable on Ipads. ( i thought i read that somewhere ).
