Rethink your class stretch goals. Ranger/druid seems fair, but bard/monk is outrageous. If you want class goals then put knights on it or something. Druids, bards and monks are classic core classes that shouldn't be missing, and shouldn't take a fortune to unlock.
Stretch Goal Order should be:

Ranger
Gnome
Druid
Halfling
Bard
Monk
Crafting
Adventure Area
Housing
Armor Sets
PvP
Elementals
Reptilian
Player Farms
Additional Continent
Player Choice Race
Sky Content
Water Content
UI

You may be right, but it has a zoom out/in function... If it's there I'm gonna be playing the minimap (radar) rather than what's in front of me. Happens in every game. Nothing can surprise you if it's right in front of your face via your UI.
I think what bugs me most is the NESW compass lettering, I was hoping for a return of the sense heading skill. Or atleast having to buy a compass inroder to really know what direction you are headed in. Also I am ok with maps IF you have either purchased a map of the area you are in, or your character made one in game via carteography system of some sort.

Yea I found that interesting he steered away from one of the main points of the ol' school crowd, tough death penalties. Sounded in fact like he wanted to do something different. Will be interesting to see his idea.

Overland dungeons
It's a zone-based game, with likelihood of instancing. "Overland dungeons" just means a zone with an outdoor theme.. But, yeah.. totally not WoW, I guess.

class/combat system this is much more in line with VG..

Telegraphing and being able to roll out of the way of a sword swing is twitch combat. Call that whatever term you want; that is not EverQuest

There was no talk of A death penalty. My guess is they haven't decided just Brad said he doesn't want to make things tedious for the sake of tedious.

Hard to post at work but in regards to combat OT/DT is much more in line with VG.. Of course this game will look like other mmos. They all do but to says it a wow clone is just way unfair at this point.

You're reaching on all your points man. Brad went out of his way to say he doesn't want twitch combat. All games have some form of reaction to them. Just not the DDR feeling we have now.

Questions for here or the next Q&A Aradune:

-How disposable will our gear be? I'm sick of tossing gear so quickly I don't even remember where it came from. We all had those slots in EQ that we wore from level 10 to level 50. Along with very memorable gear such as Sol Ro armor quests, epic quests, etc.
-Will the main progression be on killing mobs, collecting things, bear ass quests, or....? Please...no bear ass quests, unless it's just repeatable quests to grind faction or "stack belts on a new alt to blast through the early levels".

Couple of things:

Instancing will be used in dungeons to tell a story, where linear content makes sense.

The majority of zones, both overland and dungeon, will not be instanced.

A lot of the more interesting systems are described in the PC Gamer article. There will be another PC Gamer article soon that has even more detail. Later, we will move a lot of the exclusive info that PC Gamer has onto the KS site.

It seems pretty clear this is VG 2.0 with slightly slower combat, more difficult bosses and hopefully EQ like loot/questing.

Well since you're answering questions: First person view or third person as the 'preferred' or 'the game was designed with this view in mind'. Your radar (bleh) somewhat means not needing a permanent 3rd person view.

Thanks. What would really be great if someone were able to consolidate these suggestions and questions once every couple of days so that we can start putting them on the KS site and start building the FAQ.
