Except this is an already existing market that has numbers backing it up. All 2800 of them. You want something that's new and unknown? Then EQN is in another thread. Brad was selling a return to a market that's already existed and has moved on.

you can't be that fucking stupid. just because brad couldn't get the money with a failed KS that was horribly put together doesn't mean the market doesn't exist.

And this is why I cried when people started whining about the Kickstarter. All this shit will get blamed on it and the faithful will continue to ignore the elephant in the room. There is no market. You and Brad had the chance to prove it with this stunt and you couldn't even manage 3 thousand people despite spamming the hell out of gaming sites.

you're a fucking idiot. i didn't give a cent to this KS, and i would never give a cent to any KS. it's not my job to fund the making of a game, if the game is good, i will pay for it and pay a sub for it. that's my role as the consumer. do you give hundreds of dollars to movie directors so they can make movies you want to see? of course you don't. you simply buy a ticket to watch it in the theaters. the entire idea of a KS for a game is retarded.

What if some old hasbeen game developer tried to make a newer game based on the core concepts from the early 90's? That shit will never work! When will people get it through their thick skulls!!!!

Regarding the Pantheon official forums, it appears all posts are being moderated at the moment. I've got posts that aren't publich yet that are "waiting for the approval." And it's been 10 hours in some cases since something new has been publically posted. I guess the dev team for the website has a habbit of going AWOL as well.

I think we call all agree only idiots don't understand how a KS campaign is a representative sample of a larger group. That doesn't mean an oldschool/hardcore/group/whatever game would be a smash success, but there's more interest than the Pantheon abortion indicates. Actually, a good argument could be that there WAS more interest, but now won't be. Thanks Brad. By trying to give us the game we wanted, you managed to keep that game from never coming. A SECOND TIME!
