I guess I just don't understand GGG's game design.
They throw Cold/Fire/Lightning damage at you from the very first zone, and then add poison, ignite, and frozen in as well. Then, soon after, they start with Chaos damage.
ALL BEFORE THEY GIVE YOU THE ABILITY TO MANAGE THE FUCKING DAMAGE TYPES. Like, I'm in Act 2 and getting wrecked by the dual boss because there is no way to dogeroll away from the large swing physical attacks while also avoiding the lightning damage as well. I would be doing better if there was some more mitigation; but the only way to get that is to use currency I don't have.
This is exacerbated by the fact that the first permanent increase boss drop you get is +10 cold resist....and then fucking nothing like that again the rest of the act and into mid Act 2. What the fuck are they thinking?

Poison is the actual worst until you get a charm for it.
I had -20% resists all the way through to maps and don't even notice a difference now that I have some resists.

yeah viper bitch kicked my ass. invul phase bullshit. Took like 12 tries. in the end, dps/luck won out, as she only did her invul twice.

Okay that was enough internet for the day
Reinstalled all drivers and the game. Movement is noticably faster only while using mouse/click. WASD still is extremely slow. But drops have changed. I rolled a new character and had several rares that were lvl 4-5 while still only leveling 3.

Hands down hardest boss in the game (outside of pinnacle bosses I havent fought).
They said they increased the drop rate by 500% for Gemcutter's Prism. But I've had only 1 drop the entire time Ive played, and that was from a map. They must have been INSANELY rare before the increase.

I wouldn't waste an exalts on that you'll out level it pretty fast. Wait till you get to around level 38 bases
Also I haven't seen an exalt since like level 22 and I'm 46 now.

Did you not see his Shadow of the Erdtree playthrough?
He fucking babyraged hard as shit, to the point that he "quit" the game, said it wasn't for him, yada yada yada.
A couple days later the autismos figure out that shields are omega busted in the DLC, one of his parasocial retards in chat gives him a busted build, and he facerolls the rest of the game, calling it basically the GOAT.
The guy is absolutely the fucking Rat King. If he can't quasi exploit his way through something or it's borderline retard skill level required, he has no interest. The dude is dog shit at video games and was only ever successful at WoW because he could play the game 18/hrs a day and live off the work of his guild mates.

It hasn't been about that in a long while. Probably since Ninja first started gaining notoriety for his skills.
It's simply an "entertainment" platform now and has been for at least a good 6+ years I'd say. Of course you're going to have your super knowledgeable guys, your super skilled guys, etc. But typically the people ultra skilled aren't very entertaining, because they're goddamn weirdos. Meanwhile, guys like Quin are average at games but are hilarious/entertaining as fuck.
