I dont mean the build looks awful, I mean the final Sanctum boss looks awful. That's just... a miserable amount of HP and time/effort that can completely wipe out an hour+ of time taken to actually get there.

This game is so regressive in so many aspects.

Yes, but unfortunately with how EA works you have a buy a second supporter pack on console in order to get access there too. I'm semi-tempted to buy it on Xbox, since at least MS aren't total faggots like Sony and your MTX are shared with PC.

Yep, having the same problem. The worst is having to count off 5 seconds every time I cast SRS so I know when to drop them again for max uptime. That's not a gamepad issue though, the UI is just in a bad spot no matter how you play and it sucks you can't move anything.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I cannot fathom why anyone thought it was a good idea to focus so heavily on two of the absolute shittiest league mechanics that PoE ever introduced.

Dodge rolling to get in 1 melee strike over and over again is not really compelling gameplay. It isn't like dark souls where you have 3 dimensions to work with and more angles to dodge around with. You only have up down left and right. You also don't have the wide variety of weapons and their "weight" to feel like you do in a DS game.

This makes it boring, tedious, and unfulfilling. Especially as warrior because your deliberate slow attack speed + missing basic attacks just sucks dick. Your basic attack does way more damage then your skills. This will suck until you get a bunch of attack speed to mitigate it.

Gear is definitely an issue, I used an amulet from level 1 I made and didn’t find an upgrade until level 59.

Now I get some of the earlier rage in this thread. I killed a boss(pack guy at start of act2) but then all these adds swarmed me(probably 20-30), I died. I spawn at checkpoint right next to the boss but loot is gone? Corpse still there though!

How fucking dumb is that. What a waste of time.

Really been enjoying monk, the burst they do is pretty dumb at times as a melee glass cannon.

Yes right now melee needs to be doing 2-3x ranged damage to make it worth it. Never going to happen.

What level should I shoot for before I knock out the 2nd ascendancy trial? Really want the stronger passive boost to see how it feels but sounds like the chaos trial is pretty imbalanced especially for melee.

That sanctum boss looks so hellish, but the journey to get there is far worse than you can imagine.

I've done a half dozen sekhema trying to get just my third ascendancy now, and the amount of clusterfuck bullshit is infuriating. Each run takes WAAAAY longer than sanctum runs in poe1 as well, it's not just one hour wasted, it's multiple when you're talking 3-4 floors.

You just need to get lucky on the mods you're offered. if you're not struggling with act bosses, you can do the ascendancy. If you are struggling... I'd wait till you get some upgrades in cruel.

Okay, I get why some of you were annoyed with Honor. Missed a dodge, and got power spiked right before I finished the last trial room. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Not sure it's so much about level as much as mental state at the time. I've been putting it off because I just don't want to rage about it.

Tossing in a few honor resist relics makes it piss easy. Make sure you use them.

Been trying to build this up, not sure if elemental invocation will work like this for your build but it adds a ton of help for clear/bosses.
