PoE2 has a bunch of issues. But this is like a 5-6 month testing ground for this kind of stuff. The "Yeah but I paid $30!" shit is stupid because no one tricked you into playing EA AND you get the $30 in credits for the actual Poe2 1.0 launch for whatever the fuck you want.
Game has a lot of rough spots and if you don't like it, quitting is definitely an acceptable answer. I'd say come back in 2-3 months whenever they probably do EA V2 and smooth out some stuff. Or come back even later when all the Ascendancies are out.
Pointing out this is 50-75% of a game right now isn't critical thinking, it's very apparent. Thinking that because of the state it's in, 3 weeks after EA launch, it'll never be good or D4 is better or whatever is beyond naive.
If you don't like it, don't play it. Come back later. Your account isn't going to expire. I've got two 90ish characters and 500k kills and I'm pretty much done until the next patch. This 2 weeks "hands off" period was actually a good way to figure out what's "OP" and what's just "good". You see people doing Pinnacle bosses on gas arrow? Not so much. Arsonists? Absolutely not. All the "OMG THIS TOO GOOD" shit was found out to be "good enough" and that's why they need long unmoderated periods of testing. The early CoFreeze nerf may have been premature, but they probably checked the numbers and went "oh shit" because something like 40% of the top 1000 characters were all Stormweavers using it. They only nerf shit when it seems like the only option to play. I'm sure Archemage is getting fucked, armor is getting buffed, Grim Remnants getting a timer, and mace skill speed probably getting upped. But that may take 1 week to 2 months. Just gotta dip in and out as you feel like it.
