Is there a way inflict self damage somehow? I'm wondering if it's possible to use that to get around not being able to activate life flasks at full life.

Something like lifetap would work, but, ironically, the build I want to use this has no mana cost for its main skill.

I really wish these assholes would communicate their intentions. I want to respec my warrior to ES but need to know if it's worth or if I'm just gonna be stuck with a bunch of gear I don't need

This was my complaint because it's different for each piece and each stat, if they went from highest to lowest with t1 being the highest it wouldn't be so confusing. You really have to use this site.

It would have the same problem, just with the sides swapped. is it "slightly" more useful to know max, then it is lowest? I suppose.. the best would just be to show the range, like they do with other variable stats. 35%(29-35%) t5(t1-11)

There are supports that sacrifice life, heartbound loop, demon stitcher gloves, there are some items/passives that make you lose life on certain conditions.

I have not found any way to actually self hit however, was trying to find a way to self chill with the chest but couldnt come up with anything.

EDIT: You might also be able to get around it by using a flask that removes %of life recovered from mana on use.

yes and no.

there are many ways to "sacrifice" life, and the like. but that does not count as a "hit" for recoup or other things you would want.

"extraction" support sacrifices life for extra chaos damage.

fireflower solar amulet does 100 to you when you ignite an enemy.

olroth's resolve might also be helpful pending on exactly what you are trying to do

Demon Stitcher and Extraction are for spells only, annoyingly. And Fireflower is on ignite only. I'm trying to use this on Shattering Concoction. I want the suffix slot for charges/s, so life removed on use of a mana flask is out as well.

Would heartbound loop work with SRS?

Doesn't have to be a hit, just not be at full life so the life flask can be activated.

Juicing maps isn't a requirement, but then you just have to accept that you aren't going to get the crazy amount of gear/orbs that juicers are getting and struggle to sustain higher tier maps.
Wondering if it's worth just running blue maps and if they could sustain, at the moment I'm making more T15 than I use/lose, but I do explode 1/3rd of the time and lose my exp.

Can white/blue maps award the endgame skill books I wonder? I have 4/5 of the boss ones but they were all rares.

Thanks, I'll test out that "feature" when I get home. I wonder if that only works because Olroth's is completely instant recovery, so it doesn't recover that last decimal of life and letting you hit the flask whenever.

They've really got a long way to go if GGG expects you to hit Olroth's reactively only.

So this pretty much sums up how I feel when some faggot whispers me for my 2 ex item while I am in a map.

I'm just thankful for the 150 IQ autists who play this game, so they show me how shit works, because when I watch videos like this, I feel like cromagnon man seeing a smart phone for the first time.

people typically enjoy mechanics where it takes longer to pick up the loot than to do the mechanic

Breach has always been cool, it just hadn't always been worth it. I did get my first legit 100 on that league where you could juice breaches and get like 700% xp or something. Was doing EK ignite with HH. Damn that was fun popping like 3 breaches and frame stuttering for a full 3 seconds while the game had to calculate 10 billion things in 1 tick.

Think I sold a 60 divine grasping mail too

Had some possibly rare atlas map right before the citadel I found, may not be rare but it was the first I saw it. (will see if I remember to check the name when I get home tonight.)

Anyway, there were a ton of huge groups of monsters all over, without any crazy pack size or anything. I felt like a Monk Bruce Lee, shit was so much fun. If they had more of that without worrying about random ground 1-shots that I don't notice I'd be pretty happy.

Oh, and I also went back to get the missing set of Weapon Skill passives and Act 2 cruel made me realize how much stronger my character got. Was fun one-tapping basically every monster for a bit, hahah.
