"its early access" seems like a really strange take considering how much is inexplicably a giant step backwards from poe1 and for how long its been in dev.
Its not a question of content. no one is saying anything about acts4-6 or whatever missing. its the actual game design choices that are being criticized. its not unlike Bannerlord. for all the good, theres some really glaring gaps, and outright bad choices.
like the citadel system. That had to be designed. someone looked at atlas and said, "lets make it better". how do you do that, build the new atlas, and not having markers, roads, or some other form of pathing to lead players to citadels? thats like game design 101. pointing players in the direction to go. That kind of shit is in poe1. its all over the place.
The rng map presumably causing load times on when opening up the map/waystones. what even the hell? how did this even make it past q/a? again, why was this even done on a design level?
That said, the game HAS also drawn me into it like old school poe1 in a way, current poe1 does not. 8 days,12hours /played. absurd.
yet.. again. was not enjoying the lack of bosses, and map juicing process at all. so, stopped playing. started an alt witch and deciding on another Kenshi run. (poe2 itself interrupted a black geyser playthrough...)
