There are still some funky things possible in game. Leave it to me. Wasn't gaining flask charges in the first zone the river bank. You can't reset it. If you log out you log back into the same deal with no flask charges. Meaning you couldn't even get to town lol. Not a huge deal just reroll the character but odd.

Have they gotten to maps yet in PoE2? Perhaps they'd like more of that mechanics and stuff.
Is there a game that has successfully dealt with this issue? Having to develop a new game to entice new players seems like a steep cost.

They focus on getting higher tier, ignoring completly the whole citadel stuff for now (they're around 85, doing T12). Say they don't really understand what they are doing but that may come later.

I suppose that's what all successful game sequels are for. Here the similarities between the two games maybe blur the frontier for PoE1 players that feels like it's more poe1.5 than poe2. Like Command & Conquer and Red Alert.

It does because I keep up with PoE 1 fairly regular and even I get random currency fragments I later find out are crucial things I need.
Like I missed the tower defence league, it's gone core and I'm tossing the random oils in the stash. I only find out in PoE 2 how important these amulet anoints are.
But having them merged into delirium and delirum turning up as 1 of 6 mechanics not 1 of 20 made it much easier to figure that out and farm them.
Not saying oils are hard in PoE 1, but when you hardly ever see it and you've got 100 different bits of stash crap, it's not going to be a focus.

Yea I did the same. Had half a Quad tab full of them, but ran all of them now lol. I had a few ilvl 77-79 that I sold to vendor though. Not sure if they have the same loot or not.

As long as they have 10 trials they drop the fragments to unlock Trialmaster regardless of ilvl so its always worth doing them.
I imagine higher ilvl ones will drop rarer base items however.

Anyways, did 4 Trials now so about an hour of playing. I cant get this much running normal maps. Trials are bonkers for Currency.
This is me selling the Soul Cores and Fragments, usally I do Trialmaster but today I'm just selling Fragments. Also had bad Soul Stone RNG today.

Did 3 lv80 trials and got nowhere near those exalts, wtf.
Anyway what's the deal with trialmaster? How does he compare to the boss in room 10?

The Exalts are from selling the Soul Cores and Fragments. But with RNG it can be 30 ex or 150 ex depending on what drops.
Trialmaster is easy. Not sure he does anything dangerous really.

Oh makes sense, I did see that the fragments sold for a nice amount and some of the cores.
Biggest money maker for me has been Audience with the King from Ritual, had two for 7.5 Divs each.
