PoE 2 is not for me.
That's exactly how PoE 1 was FYI.Yea it's quite unfortunate. PoE2 campaign act1-3 the first time was the best ARPG experience I've ever had. Followed by endless mediocrity and then a completely boring end-game. Combined with the lack of updates, I just don't care about it any more. Maybe a year or two from now it'll pick back up?
So abandon a perfectly functioning and finished game in favor of a broken unfinished game? Sometimes I wonder if you try to one up your own retardedness.Well, there's also the fact they likely devoted resources BACK to PoE1 from PoE2, because of all the PoE1 Andy's whining and crying about, "Muh boat league is too old!!! Fix your game, GGG!!".
This will be the constant tug of war until they finally realize they need to abandon PoE1. Let people whine and cry that a 2 week old gaming isn't going to have the same level of content as a 12 year old game. They'll come around. What else are they going to play? D4? LMAO.
PoE 2 is just better than PoE 1 in technology, the game looks and plays better. The game play may be missing a few things but it's also missing the bloat. So abandon a perfectly functioning and finished game in favor of a broken unfinished game? Sometimes I wonder if you try to one up your own retardedness.

I'm playing PoE 1 right now, I can see it.
Uhh..yes?So abandon a perfectly functioning and finished game in favor of a broken unfinished game? Sometimes I wonder if you try to one up your own retardedness.
Right, which is why you move them all over to the PoE2 ecosystem of MTX, because now you're able to churn out content at a relatively decent pace, rather than half-assing content for BOTH games.PoE1 and PoE2 are GAAS. D1 and D2 were not. Infrequent updates is effectively the same as shutting the servers down. Nobody buys supporter packs for a game that isn't receiving content.
I'm betting GGG does not have the operating capital to do as you suggest.
