oh fuck. totally broke ice mages. frost wall will no longer proc cast on crit. What a stupid choice. Should have a balanced it. in FACT, should have made ice crystals count as FROZEN for things like Cold snap.

- -The Circular Heartbeat Ascendancy Passive Skill has been removed. Rapid River no longer has a prerequisite.

this might be ok. unleash as a concept works better with CDR, time stop, then just rng faster cast.

big nerf...but not really enough. so, a flat 3%, instead of up to 9%, per 100 mana. And more mana cost.. reduced res, does enable more options. thats good.
- -Curse Skills now apply their Curse after a 1.5 second delay (previously 1 second).
makes sense. make it LESS useful in breach/rituals, etc. make it more required for blashphemy, or the instant ground aoe support. 10d chess move.
- -Flameblast now has a 15 second Cooldown (previously none), and now has 75% more damage per Stage (previously 200%). It now has an Explosion radius of 0.6 metres per Stage (previously 0.4), and Quality now provides 0-20% more Cast Speed (previously 0-10%).

- -Hexblast can now only detonate Curses for which at least 50% of the duration has expired. This means it can never explode Curses that have an infinite duration. Curse orbs will be visually different when 50% of the Curse duration has expired if you have Hexblast equipped. The Explosion radius of Hexblast has been increased to 2 metres (previously 1.6 metres), and it now has a maximum of 3 Explosions per cast (previously 9).

This cements Scepter/focus imho for casters. I was already on that train in s1. malice or skel minion scepter, with ES focus. even for sorcs. sorcs could use the crit weakness, or minions to soul feast,lifetap. spirit/ES was better then the minor +2 to skills you could get on a wand.
- -Hourglass now causes Supported Skills to deal 30% more Damage (previously 40%).
hahahah. what the fuck? those +Cooldown supports were already TRASH. hourglass was 40% more damage, +10seconds cooldown added.
- Mana Flare now has a Flare Radius of 2 Metres (previously 1.6), and now consumes 25% of current Mana to deal that much Fire damage (previously 20%).

- Spell Echo Support can no longer support Triggered Skills.

Shock siphon was not as good as grim feast. But, it was also removed. weaker mana version of grim feast.
Uniques: big nerfs to atziris, ghostwrithe, and gaze in numbers, but not mechanics.
- The Melting Maelstrom Unique Flask no longer has the property of "Recover all Mana when Used". This change does not affect existing versions of the item.

For example, you can now use a Perfect Jeweller's Orb on a Skill Gem with two Support Gem Sockets to set it to have five Support Gem Sockets.
nice QoL. I had that. got a perfect before a greater. so it just sat there... this also means. 2 separate skills can be buffed.
- Increased Effect of Auras from your Aura Skills can no longer roll on Jewels or Time-lost Jewels.
