The upgraded graphics and art for characters is gonna make them so much more money on cosmetics, plus the way bigger player base they're expected to have. It makes me think the way they monetize their game must work out pretty well for them. They make an awesome game, and in return a lot of the active players support them by buying a supporter pack every league which not only supports the company but gives you a bunch of cosmetics + currency to buy tabs or more cosmetics or gamble on loot boxes. It incentivizes both the company to make the best game possible thus retaining their active players, and the players to support their hobby to ensure it stays at that high level of quality.

Yea I would probably have spent more on PoE one if it did not look so dated. The animations are pretty tough and the models are pretty bad.
I can see myself spending all the cash I thought D4 would steal from me on PoE 2.

Man Infernalist is pretty shitty pathing to do summoner stuff, reminds me of golem elementalist. You obviously want the hellhound, but then you want both the increased spirit for reserving your health(bigger army) and the infernal flame buff shit, but the former costs 4points because it has a pretty trash node in front and the later totals 6 points if you want both the ignite and the added damage. If you go for the spirit though you literally have 2 dead points cause you can't get anything worthwhile for 2points after that(I guess infernal flame to remove mana costs?) so seems like you'd go for the infernal stuff, but it sounds awkward to keep going.
I get that they don't want an actual minion ascendancy but that's pretty poorly put together, I guess need to hope for a better 3rd ascendancy even if it's just curse related.

The autists in PoE are something else. Sometimes I wish I leaned a little on that spectrum.
Saw that the Ascendency stuff was showed and they all go crazy and I don't understand anything.
My build will brick 100% and I'll have fun doing it!

The hype for this nudged me just enough to pull the trigger on some Black Friday deals to get a new PC and monitor. Its been 4 years since I neckbearded an entire weekend away with a new league launch. Definitely going to be server/queue issues Friday afternoon but its going to be hella fun.

They would probably make SO much more money if the MTX was just a bit more.. pretty. you don't have to be UGLY and grimdark. you can also be pretty and grimdark. see 40k..sure it has plenty of ugliness, but it also has awe inspiring, beautiful and pretty.

yeah, well they are doing that thing... Necromancer is for summons.
infernalist is for demon pets, and summon raging spirits, and other direct cast summons.
that said, it is my understanding they ARE trying to avoid the necromancer issue. where there is one defacto ascendancy for any particular skill/build. same with traps. that is the thing I hated about ascendancies.
one of the great things about Pathfinder. flasks, everyone gets flasks. you could play ANY build with pathfinder.
