I really got to hand it to them, I thought they made towers as poorly as possible and they proved me wrong by making them worse. I was just thiunking all those stupid waste of time maps needed was the ability to spawn 10 breaches into a map that you can barely move around in, or fight a boss! WOOOOOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEEE
Enjoy your atlas for at least the next year till they finally get it and change it back to the PoE atlas. Maybe they will make it better by doubling the size of the atlas tree to 10 points or something stupid.

Can't belive how much of a piece of shit this game is that I played for 100+ hours, worst class is winning the race wtf. Ruined my life.

The stark contrast between 1st and 2nd place person kind of inidicates one of two things to me:
1: Dude got a mega drop like a well rolled 2hander or a pillar of the caged god
2: Dude new some exploit or something. AFAIK he wasn't streaming. So unless he posts without a visible character profile we won't know what kind of gear he got.
But finishing act 3 40 minutes faster than the same class and several levels lower seems strange. We'll see when the other races complete where it ends up in the overall times.

The obvious is answer is just that no one took it seriously besides one sperg that practiced a ton and got to clown on a bunch of people that ran the campaign kinda fast-ish 5 or 6 times and called that 'practice'.
The full autismo poe1 race crew almost universally doesn't actually like poe2 except maybe exile? And haven't really been even attempting to optimize campaign runs yet

Havoc's been doing test runs for a month at least. He's probably just not giving a fuck until the last race. I think enough PoE1 racers watched this and thought "shit, I could compete with these guys." Lily already said it made her want to start practicing because no one besides Amorgus stood out at all and everyone died a few times.
Interestingly Pestily said he wanted to practice SSF hardcore PoE2 runs a while back, and outside of Tarkov PoE2 is his favorite game. Be interesting if he ported over those people to the PoE fanbase.

Acts 1-3 in 2.5 hours seems insane to me, I think I could probably do Act 1 within that time, lol.

Act one is probably the quickest of them all - probably takes 30 minutes roughly. The zone layouts change, but.. not really. Especially if you're not going off the beaten path to get the passive bonuses from shit. So you end up going from boss, to boss, to boss in quick succession. Which is especially timely if you're so good at dodging their mechanics that you can still kill them when you're under leveled and under powered, respective to the upgrades you get along the way.
If you really think about how much we've learned about the game, what works, what doesnt work, what defenses to build and which ones to completely ignore... I cant imagine anyone that went through the early release cant get through acts 1-3 relatively quickly. Though, 2.5 hours is still booking it - on a mission type shit.
