Might be but you’ve got to be a straight face tank to use it. It has a range of -infinity so unless you’re on the boss’s nuts and facing it you don’t hit so the risk/reward is there. I wanted to league start with it but it looked like shit in pob and still does but the damage is there even if it’s a bit of an awkward skill overall.

After having dicked around with basically every melee skill I've decided that what truly makes cyclone broken is that it costs 0 man (or it does after a basically free ring enchant).
Ice crash is 45 mana per swing, earthquake is almost 60, even bladestorm is 28. These are real mana costs that make mana leech an actual concern, as well as having to leave at least like ~10% mana unreserved so you can actually utilize your attack rate without running out of mana.
Meanwhile cyclone can reserve 100% and never have to worry about no leech/no regen maps or any of that shit cause it's literally free.

Yea it's tough to balance. Maybe something like a minimum manacost would help, but fuck if I know.
It's just frustrating as all hell trying to play something like ice crash or earthquake where a single use of my skill is 50+ mana, which warps my entire build in order to keep a standing mana pool and have enough leech to actually use my skill reliably.

Apparently the "new" thing is to buy out all of an item and then scam people for it. I tried to buy a 6l Carcass Jack a few times in the last week. The first 50 give or take were all listed in the past 5 minutes. Odd. No matter which one I tried to buy it was always someone trying to sell a 5l, no matter which price I picked. Apparently someone bought a crapload of them or it's the big thing now and everyone is doing it. I gave up after about 20 trips to someones hideout and had them attempt to sell a 5l that was advertised as a 6l.

It's not new, but definitely more rampant this league than I had experienced before. Other versions are buying all of some niche item, listing at an inflated price, then try to trade for something actually of value. But, an AH would remove that precious interaction part of trading and break the game....

That shit happened all the time, some person, or group of people used to constantly control certain portions of the market by buying everything out and then listing them back at inflated prices. there used to be people that did nothing more than play the market in WOW.

Sure, an AH wouldn't do a thing for price-fixing, but we have price-fixing w/o it anyway. Having fuckers try to give non-6L that are hard to see due to item graphic, or bricked version of an item (that retain the graphic) would be removed by an AH.

Yeah i feel ya. the trade in this game is profundly idiotic and Im not sure why they dont just add the AH in like they should of done years ago. This whole "because its social face to face" bullshit is nothing but a farce.

The game flat out needs a fucking auction house due to scamming. And I don’t buy their bullshit on making items hard to find to counteract how easy items would be to get then or whatever that excuse was. I spend about as much time kitting out a second or third character in a league as I did in a d3 league. Sure rather than having a whole fucking set, it might be half items half currency.

GGG is going to have to sit down and do some thinking and do something. I'm not a game dev. I don't know the answer. Not paid to think or come up with an answer lol. Not my job. They need to come up with something. As it is now your best bet if you want to buy low value currency in bulk is to contact a bot, some player interaction there.

Yeah, I used to be wholly opposed to an auction house but the amount of bots/flippers/scammers/retards is getting out of hand for the trade sites. I'd be fine with one now. That's what happens when games get popular I guess, the faggot-brigade comes out in force and ruins things.
