So I did the Uber Lab for the first time ever. I had my girlfriend click the helm enchant and she got "Dread Banner has 40% increased effect" on the first try. Not the best, but I was pretty happy with that outcome considering how many trash ones there are.

You can get about any spell-based build working with mana guardian. I tried a storm brand based one, it was alright. The dps might have been lower than I'd liked. And I didn't like how brands popped legions.

I have 7ex and ~100c in currency leftover. I also have a decently well geared physical cyclone slayer(AhShit|HereWeGoAgain) and an extremely well geared ED/Contagion guardian(StopMeBeforeIReroll). If anyone wants the currency or gear, let me know.

I would recommend trying out mana guardian before they nerf him. I died maybe 2 times to juiced up T16 legions? And if you pop vaal RF during legion popping, one ED will clear the whole thing. You just have to fight spacing issues and the fact that dots are inactive after a certain distance away from you. I probably should have eldered Glacier instead of City Square. Despite being quite open, the geometry and shield walls still got in the way of ED chaining.
You got it to about the same point I did. I hit about 800k dps on ED DoT, and 6k ES. It was *functional*.
The fantasy part was the items you "created" in PoB for the initial planning of the build. Those were fictional items, that moved the ES up to like 13k? ES.
I concluded getting up to 13k ES was not feasible given the "means" I was willing to put into the build.
I used zero words that did not accurately depict the build, its ceiling, and the expense in reaching it.

For like the 5th time, its FEASIBLE, its just not as clean / smooth as trickster (IMO).
There should be a skill that works with it very well, but the mechanics of this league, again imo, put ED / Cont, Vaal Ice Nova, and Cyclone at the top. And this build takes a ton to get it to the same level as trickster.

Actually, I got it far above that point. He ended at 92 with over 11k ES.
I understand people can have different levels of investment into a build, that's fine. That doesn't make my build fictional. It's still quite functional without the expensive items. What pieces of gear did you find too expensive?
I disagree about smoothness. Sitting in my hideout, the combined cast time of my ED/Contagion was just a bit over 0.6s. Trickster will have more cast speed from ascendancy but won't have Haste reserved. The difference is not that large.

I said the PoB was fictional. Like you just "created" items with in it to flesh out the build. Which is fine, but to replicate it was beyond what I'm willing to invest in something that is essentially a reroll of the exact same thing I already had. The ITEMS were FICTIONAL.
And the smoothness thing was part AE, part DoT dps, part etc etc etc. It was not a single dimension of the guardian play.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills and you arent able to comprehend something you whipped up in PoB had items that your toon did not have in game and thus were FICTIONAL. Not liek boots dont exist in game, but that the ones you included in the original PoB weeks ago, did not currently exist on any toon.

Thanks to Deathwing got some items and currency. Now can spend some. A good bit of chaos on maps probably. Thanks again. I'm such a slacker one league maybe next I'll get "organised" and do some stuff like challanges and maybe make some real currency other than bumping around and mostly random stuff.
To prove how OP cyclone is my 90 lvl character had no issues clearing up to tier 15 maps and 2 guardians (only 2 I tried) with some pretty hard rolls and hadn't even ascended with uber lab and until this week didn't have a good chest other than the one I crafted that was just HP 6 link and the 600dps phys axe that is like it is when it dropped other than I crafted attack speed on it. Doing t14 maps at 86 is another of the it's OP when crap geared at the time.
Having done shaper in the past I think I could have but I'm not a fan of the stage fights.

Having several ramp-ups like rage or blitz charges or whatever really makes invuln phases hurt. I'm currently DW Mjolnir Berserker and I NEED 50 rage and 20 Blitz charges to do decent DPS. All damage is tied to my APS and if they fall off it can be dicey getting them back up.

My power is currently out, but it fucks. Hard. I have 4 Mjolnirs and swap for single target a la old Poets Pens builds. Inpulsas blows legions to smithereens. I rely on a life gain on hit vit watchers eye as well, but with 14ish proj a second and 14 cyclone hits and ball lightning you're looking at like 3-6k HPS. My 6 link is currently cyclone, life gain on hit, fortify (fort mjolnir corrupts are like 9 ex), CWChannel, Conductivity, and wave of conviction.
Ae clear is something like Arc/added light/pen and shock nova/incAE/added light.
Single is still WIP: ball lightning/slowerproj/addedL and storm call/less duration/controlled D.
Storm call is probably not good enough with just two supports, so I'm still working on that.
Whole idea was Rage + Blitz = 14 APS (I'm at like 13 or so at full bore) and thats for 150ms procs. With full CDR it's something like 110ms and 19 APS for full dps.

Interdasting. Stick Lightning Warp in there somewhere, see if you can get back to full Poet's Pen despite their attempts to nerf it.
Seems a bit squishy in terms of EHP, how does it deal with the with Maraketh rape train?
I hope they do something about crit calculations for non channeled abilities. I'd love to try a spectral throw Mjolnir build but the dead casts(or requiring Assassin) are just a deal breaker.

There you go. I thought about Lightning Warp except I think since I proc it on hit with melee range I'd just be zooping around in place basically. Might be bad for oh-shit type situations.
Maraketh's aren't a problem. I have 6khp and fortify (I have 6500ish hp, but I have blood magic Precision). Just never stop moving and they'll all die. Like I said I have 30 life gain on hit (every arc, every shocknova, every cyclone hit) plus +54 hp per cyclone hit (13ish a second) for clear. So you're looking at like 3k HPS easily. For single target with the ball lightnings it's even higher. I actually die less to Legions (re: not at all) than my traditional Zerker Phys Cyclone I started with. Inpulsa's + Arc allows me to clear shit before it can hit me from ranged.
My PoB won't show it but I have a meh Lethal Pride near Templar tree. Basically just using it for something like +100 more strength. The hardest part about this build is meeting Mjolnir stat requirements. After that you just get attack speed and put in your favorite skills and go.
I can make a Twitch highlight. Until I perfect the single target I won't do any videos of T16 Guardians or Uber Elder or anything, but it's not far off. I did Hydra the other day as a goof and I got one shot (Vuln + 2 Proj map. Ooops!) and it wasn't that bad. Probably is my single target spells are underleveled because I'm cheap and not buying 20 or 21 spell gems. So I was doing Hydra with like a 18/20 ball lightning and 15/20 storm call or something dumb. I also had a 21 Spark I tried out in the clear variant. I think the required faster proj + Pierce supports make it a no go, but honestly with as many as I put out Pierce + Added lightning might be good.
Like I said, I'm still working on it but it's almost assuredly a viable build for everything.
As for my Trickster Cyclone Discharger with Mjolnir.....much less viable. Even with 8 power charges, 5 endurance charges and 6 frenzy charges. Just couldn't stack damage high enough. Trickster + Cyclone + Cast While Channeling is a verrrrry good synergy though. A lot more there if I care to fuck with it later.
