GGG is just shit. Now they mostly rely on people who have over the years spent hundreds on mtx to white knight them in order to justify spending that kind of money on a shit product that does not work half the time.
Bex gave up pretty early on reddit this league, most of the "work" is now done by Natalia. Usually she hangs around at least 3-4 weeks

I think POE is still my favorite game of all time. Not sure why Bubbles has so much hate for GGG. I think they are miles ahead of almost every other studio (especially for FTP games) as far as I'm concerned. To each their own I guess.
I think I've spent $60 over 6 years, all on stash tabs. I have well over 1000 hours into it (I know this is far less than some others, but it's a ton for me) and I just keep coming back for at least one or two leagues a year and throw another couple hundred hours at it. I don't think I'll ever get sick of it.
For the record I'm enjoying heist. It did start off a little rough, but it's fine now. Not my favorite league ever, but still a good one.

They've been hit or miss with leagues and quality since I've been playing, but from what I can gather that's pretty much been how the game has been since release. It's a bit a shame that some leagues are poorly thought out or buggy, but they have a crazy release schedule to work with, so I won't lay blame at the devs themselves. A four-month league would probably make the world of difference, but they won't shift as many supporters packs over the year which is why I think they don't do it that way.
Even with the flaws its still light years ahead of its rivals.

my plan is best, 3 months new league 3 months legacy league with some minor easy tweeks. 6 month cycle and stop releasing trash

Yeah. I debated that. They still kind of behave that way as developers, but they’ve also got a rich, influential uncle that is making them rub his corns if they want any inheritance.

And that doesn’t stop with supporter packs either. I’m sure they have a fuckton of art for past leagues they never used that could make legacy league packs.

Haven't bought a supporter pack for this league. Probably won't, shouldn't have last league either. Basically been playing standard since Delirium ended. Heist might have been launchable with yesterday's patch, haven't tried it yet.
Also, kinda at the point where I don't care about MTX as much anymore since I got so much. Supporter pack becomes much more about "you did a good job, GGG" than getting valuable MTX. IDK, I don't think they've been doing a good job but I still play a bunch. Kinda conflicted if that means I should support them or not.

I bought one. I had not bought one since metamorph.
I was in the minority that enjoyed harvest though i don’t miss it and everyone loved delirium. I just didn’t care for the art in the packs. I’ve played since delve and they’ve all been good leagues but synthesis. That was shit.

Harvest wasn't bad but it also wasn't content. Just like Heist wasn't content until maybe yesterday, but for different reasons.
Feels like we're in some weird interim state. I could probably spend an hour posting things that I enjoyed and disliked recently. The disliked category has grown and they don't seem to be doing anything to mitigate that. So while I want to support them for still providing me hours entertainment(perhaps based off legacy work), I don't want to provide them the indication I like what they are doing currently.

After they got tencent involved wonder how much control he has. My biggest complaint is on really bad leagues when numbers drop off in a hurry and GGG can't really cover it anymore Chris post a really long winded manifesto about how something going forward is going to change and such. It's almost always the same, goes on and on and on. Nothing changes. One he talked about how the focus going forward was going to move more toward killing things and people wanted something usable to drop. That was a load of crock when I read it.

I miss hours and hours of just chaining maps and actually picking up yellows and getting some that are sellable fairly often vs almost never
now I gotta go fucking delve so I can get chrome recipe, and go into dumb hideouts to get the other recipes from alva and go into the temple so I can actually get some currency, fml

I haven't given them a dime since they became a Chinese company, probably had 1000 bucks into em before that so I helped with their sellout.
