They don't add a fucking AH until they can monetize it in some way, and i'm not talking about D3 real auction house, but more like stash tabs option. A "marketplace Npc" could be the answer.

They literally already have an NPC who is a fence. One $10 (or $20) MTX purchase later and he could be standing in your hideout selling your shit for you. It is a braindead easy solution. The only other thing they'd need to implement is an in-game item browser. I don't even give a shit if it is lifted directly from the Trade website as long as I don't have to fucking alt-tab out of the game to use it.

Besides the obvious exile craft site, are there any good guides for crafting? What are some good items you can craft? I know there are specific guides on how to craft certain weapons/armors sprinkled throughout certain build guides. However, and this might be asking too much, is there a central repository for this?

Outside the explodey chest, not really.

Crafting is more of "what item do I want/need", then figuring out the fastest and most likely route to create said item, rather than a "what item can I make" type of setup if that makes sense.

If you're looking for things to just try and craft purely for profit go for the curse on hit rings I suppose? They all sell very well if you hit even a decent life roll on them.

As far as crafting, some tailwind boots would be pretty nice for my build but I'm currently too poor :(

The next thing GGG should do in a future update is some tri-element auras and heralds. Have them be too small in their bonuses of a particular element to be useful to specialist builds but more useful to trinity builds. It sure would simplify things instead of having to pick and choose a few bonuses piecemeal to achieve the proper elemental damage balance.

Trinity support is, I hope, balanced around the difficulty of having to maintain at least two sources of damage. Some skills and items make that easier, but those skills weren't anywhere close to meta.

I'm not certain about this, but I don't think trinity does anything at all unless you occasionally hit with highest damage of a third element from the supported skill.

It says: "Supported Skills deal (3–5)% more Elemental Damage per 5 of lowest Resonance". So, say your skill hits for 2500 fire and 2500 cold, but no lightning. You'll have 50 resonance fire and cold (EDIT: I explained this part wrong, but I do know that I wasn't getting in-game indications of all resonances until I had all 3 balanced.), but 0 resonance lightning. That means trinity does nothing, since it goes off of your lowest resonance which is 0. This continues until you get a hit of over 2500 lightning to offset the cold and fire. It also tracks off of the last 2 seconds, so I'm not sure how you can boost a single element every couple seconds. You also can't use a second skill because trinity is only for the supported skill, unless that other skill also has trinity support(maybe it tracks them both separately? Dunno on that one). This is different for skills that cycle through elements like Wild Strike and Ele Hit... at least I think so. I believe it would also work with items that do random elemental damage like Voidforge.

I've approached this issue by using an ice skill (Glacial Hammer) a fire aura (Anger) and a lightning gem in my six link (Added lightning or Innervate, since I'm always shocking stuff so it's pretty much always up). I need some more flat damage on gear, especially flat lightning since the variance is higher, but it makes trinity always active with 50 resonance to all elements as long as the median damage range of all three elements is close.

Maybe it would be better to just go pure cold, but fuck it, new supports and figuring out new shit ftw.

Thats not how it works. In either case youd have 50 lightning...you get resonance of the two elements that dont do the biggest hit. So alternating fire and cold would fill all 3 up while only doing fire damage would fill up cold and lightning while leavin fire at 0

Ya, I tried it that way with 2 elements from the beginning and the third element 'indicator' up in the corner never filled up at all. I figure no indicator, no trinity working correctly. Guess I could try it again, but it's been pretty consistent for me in how and when it works.

Sometimes your initial hits of elements X and Y are so big, you never get a hit of Z off. I had that problem with Wildstrike. My lightning would gib everything and in the odd case the cold would hit after, but the majority of the time it was a big dick Lightning hit only giving me +2 out of 3.

Supposedly you can abuse Hydrosphere and Static Strike to double your beam dps. The way I understand it, one beam activation gets you "You -> Boss" and "You -> Hydrosphere -> Boss". At first, I thought this violated the shotgunning rule. But, when discussing it in guild chat, I was reminded that they nerfed Storm Brand a while back:

3.7 Patch Notes said:
Multiple Storm Brands can no longer 'shotgun' enemies with their overlapping areas of effect.

So, I guess it's plausible?

With the semi unnerf to base duration, you can double it again with 100% uptime Intimidating Cry. I don't think that's abuse, I recall GGG stating they originally nerfed Static Strike's duration from 4 to 2 because of Warcry interaction. You could probably make the duration 10s and it wouldn't effect shit.

This kind of mechanics is exactly the kind of shit I like, maybe I'll play a Voidforge variant so I can claim it's not directly from Quin69.

That said, has anyone been able to make Static Strike not gay? By that I mean, having to refresh an ability in which it kills the very targets you're trying to hit to refresh it. Thus ensuring an unreliable not-100% uptime on the buff and janky gameplay. I was watching Mathil play it yesterday for a bit, and aside from the mistake he made of not scaling his attack speed for smoothness' sake, he frequently would shield charge into packs and realize afterwards he has to refresh the buff. That gets you killed in high maps, and it got him killed a few times.

Also, new patch is super mega gay. They couldn't fix the extremely ugly texture streaming so they just slapped a loading screen on it. Honestly, not a bad decision. That said, the game now takes long enough to load a map that Windows thinks PoE has gone unresponsive.

I kinda want to chargeback the last 2-3 leagues of supporter packs. I know I can't, obviously. But how poorly basic functionality has been handled recently is appalling.

The performance problems since 3.13 is one of the more severe drawbacks to shoving every league core. Perhaps not Heist specifically since outside of a few item drops, all content is off map, but Rogue Harbor can go fuck itself and its shared instance.

Remember for 2-3 leagues you could tell when Intervention was going to fuck you because of the hitching and fps drop? They kinda sorta solved it by loading all Betrayal assets at map start. Back when Vorici white sockets and Pure Chayulas were the best money makers(latter still quite good), people could speed farm Master Seeks Help prophecies. If your map performance was super shit during first ~20s, you got Betrayal. If not, next map.

I'm somewhat certain that the Atlas passive tree has required them to treat most content in the game like they did with Betrayal because almost any content can occur on almost any map now. There is quite literally too much fucking content in the game.

They seem to be in this mindset of "we did all this work to make this mechanic, so we'll just stick it into the core game regardless". While it's great there's so much to do, you can also have too much of a good thing. I'd absolutely hate to be starting out playing now cause there's so many more mechanics than when I started in Delve.

Also fuck them for making challenges RNG based.

it's a really stupid game. I thought I was done with it but still I've been playing a couple of hours every night. It has made me not touch Factorio for a few weeks now. And that is troubling.
Also, texture streaming is a fucking pile of digested horse shit

Wonder if it works for Orb of Storms. Nevermind, Orb of Storms doesn't 'chain', it 'strikes additional enemies'

If you're doing the balancing act (50% chance of either element being highest) you might just be unlucky and roll highest being the same 10 times in a row or something?
I just tried Fireball + ball lightning and that worked as adverticed atleast.

It sounds and looks when quin/mathil play it really annoying. Having just played elemental hit melee. Just strike skills in general are
1: super melee and that will make you a slower mapper right of the bat, and lowers uptime on bosses alot.
2: The way multistrike is so overpowered and neccessary just so you have the auto aim, but then it locks you in place for more time (which is why spell echo/unleash annoy me too), makes for really stuttering gameplay especially if you misjudge the distance and don't hit anything.

I don't think i'll ever play another strike skill other than flicker strike again. And i had +2 strike gloves. (admittedly if i had 10 times the damage it might've been fine but just 3ish million whitout flasks on bosses wasnt)

It’s a whiny complaint but I just can’t get back into the game because of it. Performance issues of all the different things being included aside the game feels like it has multiple personality disorder now. There’s too much micromanagement going on for me.

They haven't written in the patch notes, but they've definitely adjusted the rate at which bosses spawn in the ritual encounters. I did 45 summits and 48 overgrown ruins over the last couple of days without any boss ritual at the end. Log in this morning and fucking lo and behold.

So ritual encounters V might not be a total nightmare after this, planning to run this over the weekend if any guild people are interested - I have nearly all the monsters stored now. They are easy but Phoenix, Kitava, Infernal King and Mephod might be slightly hard as there's very limited space in a ritual to avoid all the shit they throw down.

You do need to be in a similar range as blade vortex to do damage. However, you only need to whack something every ~2.5s to maintain the buff. Less if you get a decent amount of skill effect duration.

No need for multistrike in this build. I agree about being locked in place. Any build I play requires 1/3rd of a second of use time at max. However, multistrike doesn't lock you in place for the repeats, it's interruptable.

Yea multistrike doesn't have that weird lockstep feel anymore, that's been gone since the melee rework.

At this point I have to assume they just don't have the technical knowledge to address performance? Game is what, 8 years old, and still chugs under any kind of intense map load? What does it take to actually resolve it, drop console support and focus solely on PC? That'll never happen cause they need $$, but they sure seem to be going backwards otherwise.

When they first put Vulcan in it was amazing for like half a league, but now Vulcan seems just as shitty as DX did.
