I just hope these instilling and enkindling orbs aren't a pain in the dick. I'm going to want to do the basic shit like enchant my Gain 1 Second of Immunity to Freeze if Used When Frozen flask with Automatically Use When Frozen. I feel like that level of usage is the baseline. If this shit is expensive and I'm blowing one after another trying to get lucky on what is a huge list of mods weighted against those kinds of outcomes I'm going to be so very sad.

They claimed about as difficult as flask quality, so shouldn't be a huge deal

I was wondering the same thing. Does Asmon even play PoE. I would of preferred Chris being interviewed by people like Mathil and Zizarin. Hell even throw in Quin69 for the lulz.

GGG has really bought into listening to streamers apparently, at least till now. Not sure I would tailor a game towards people that make a living off of playing the "game". Kind of loses it's game quality and turns to professionals in a way. With tencent now as owners who knows who really calls the shots at the top.

Chris talking about trading in the Asmongold video. He's like one of those mentally ill hoarders who live in a house full of rubbish, you try and tell them that they are living in a house of rubbish, but they just can't see it as they are mentally blocking it out. No matter what you say or do, it won't change their point of view.

He makes it sound as if they developed an auction house, everyone will be hitting maps in lightning warp time, farming millions of ex in 5 mins, buying mirror tier items and then wrecking their endgame, just cause that was his experience 8 years ago in a completely different game. Turned off after catching that clip as he just looked like a mental case who will never budge no matter what. I swear all he does is sit in his office at GGG headquarters jacking it to Pornhub, he's so out of fucking touch it's unreal.

Hope this league bites them in the ass, cause this "player retention" strategy they are so hell-bent on continuing with is just too much, it's shitting all over loyal players who can't play the game like a job.

He's played some before but I don't think much relative to actual PoE streamers.

Why should he believe trading sucks? People still buy supporter packs before the league even comes out and it happens over and over. Only thing that will really ever get through to someone in his posistion is the money stops rolling in as much.

Asmon has played POE since 2013. He just never streamed it because he was a viewer count andy.

The interview with chris was good and at least put to bed a lot of the reasons behind why things are being changed.

Honestly, I hope the league is fucking brutal. The majority of the playerbase sounds like fucking babies when it comes to facing difficulty and want their pre-determined meta builds prepackaged for them with the most streamlined linear experience possible so they can convince themselves they are good at the game.

The nerfs to hypothermia have already been pushed to be reverted and most likely the spellslinger nerfs will be reverted before launch, so congrats to the whiners, they get to play the same thoughtless build they have been playing since delirium they stole from zizaran.

I am honestly ashamed to see that the massive fucking tears about changes they havent even played yet have forced their hand.

All that crying about hypothermia not affecting vortex went right over their heads about all the other cold skills/spells in the game they wouldn't even try to play because they cant think for themselves.

So congrats, youll still be crying and complaining the game is "boring" and "too hard" come release because you refuse to try other shit.

Based on what? Knee jerk reactions to something nobody that has played the game has said is bad, while the people who actually have played them(the devs) said its fine?

CoC has also been nerfed before, it was butchered with its internal cooldown before, where before it didn't even have a cooldown, the original piety age cast on crit literally casted every spell in its supported links for every hit that crit and people cried and cried about it and moved on to other builds that werent a FPS murdering nightmare.

If the only builds you've played in path of exile are pre-packed 100% 1-100 guides with full item upgrades listed out for you, you are a shit player and shouldn't voice opinions on why things should be changed or not changed but we both know you will.

Hypothermia is still going to be worse and the changes to the mana multipliers of basically every support will make Spellslinger worse. Looking up the Coldslinger I played in Ritual if we assume that Spellslinger is excluded from the "also pay mana costs on triggered spells" the char still lost 2/3rds of its damage plus is reserving too much mana requiring some reworking on a char that was already tight enough on mana that now having to pay for Wave of Conviction triggered off a wand would be an issue. This was also the League with the revamped Harvest of goodness so that will provide an additional hurdle.

If you want the shitters to get crushed than consider us crushed.

I've posted a million times on here that each league they should always have the "new" league mechanic, and pick one other complementary old league mechanic. Diablo 3 season just launched yesterday!

I think the biggest change to the game isn't even being mentioned because of all the salt. They completely removed magic and lower tier drops from act bosses and is modeling its boss run RNG after diablo 2's to take a stab at the biggest issue with PoE, its the millions of trash drops that nobody gives a fuck about after day 1 of the league.

You wouldn't even care about spamming skills if you didn't have to run 1200 burials to get 1 doctor so you can actually buy the shit you want.

That's like 99% of the playerbase right there.

Never really designed a build because it's not my thing (I tweak the shit out of any build I play) and I don't have time to do it, the game's time- consuming enough as it is without me spending an extra 20 hours every build looking over a glorified spreadsheet.

Everyone who does the content deserves to have an opinion on it.

Yes they should. A player playing the same thing league after league is in no shape or form good for the game. Among the biggest strengths of the game is the variety in the build and feel of various characters and players should absolutely be pushed to explore that by a shifting meta.
