And it's still not good enough. I can't figure out the exact reason, but the skill should self proliferate kinda like old HoI autobombers. Assuming you invest a bit into stun duration for pulse AE. But all it ever acts like is clearing a pack as if you just had melee splash and extra strikes built in. Which is good, don't get me wrong, I hate wasting gem slots on that functionality. It just bugs me that I can't figure why it doesn't prolif well.

Trauma stacking mechanic is ultra gay.

I definitely noticed that on jugg vs slayer. In theory jugg has just as much AE as slayer, maybe even more so at like 10+ endurance charges, but it still never felt quite as good? For whatever reason slayer bops entire packs with ease while the jugg setup struggled constantly with stragglers. It's almost like it scales off melee strike range for the pulses somehow.

Ancestral cry is also pretty free with the warcry keystone, cause for clear you don't need to attack all that fast so the 8 exerts or whatever it gets usually lasts you until the cooldown is up again.

It's still a melee skill though, and doing pinnacle bosses with it is just about as painful as any other actual melee attack like that unfortunately.

Because they don't think about melee at all; they see the numbers that ranged/casters put up and balance around that. The end. Once in awhile someone says "what about melee?" Then they all look around the table quietly for a second before bursting into laughter.

Reddit is appeased, does that mean I have to dislike it? Wait, no, BubblesBot said they would double down, I have an out.

Culler part was really the only thing that needed to be fixed. I don't know if the affixes themselves were still an issue. Playing Mayhem, getting gangbanged by 6+ rares in a tight spot was, well...mayhem. Does that mean archnemesis is bad, or 20 harbingers in indoor areas is bad? Play Endless Delve, the rares seem fine honestly. Some of them don't die before cart boi moves on, but it's been like that since before archnemesis.

Chunky Essence rares that you couldn't keep the fuck off you were an issue. Even knowing the affixes, it was a crap shoot whether cracking the essence was going to cornhole you or not. Does that mean archnemesis is bad, or the game doesn't give you good tools to kite for long periods?

Shame reddit couldn't fix trade.

Reddit is going to complain that now they need to always stack MF or have a MF culler because they 'never know' when the loot pinata is going to be in their map! They just made the FOMO even more real! OH NOOOOOOOO!

Next manifesto is the nerf manifesto. Buckle up.

Proof that GGG can admit and fix mistakes. Great manifesto, maybe their best one.

I'm honestly surprised they just nuked the whole thing. It's in an acceptable state as it stands but that said, good.

Kinda curious if it really will be 'hidden' loot pinata's. If people were able to check a zone upon entry for specific AN's, wondering if they won't be able to figure out those things too.

That said... nice. As a scrub, being able to clearly tell what shit does is helpful to know what killed me if its graphical.

The way I read it is the loot pool with AN mods is now randomized.

I mean, that's kind of a weird way to see the problem of the loot pinatas... You're still hunting for that touched AN mod you just have to kill every single rare now, no matter how shitty it is because you never know...

Which ok is fine but you're still going to have those moments of banging your head on some ridiculous hard shit for trash loot or you don't have MF gear on and you get your 1 divine and a chaos orb, if you're lucky.

I just don't think Poe is going to be fun for me anymore no matter what they do.

Clearly the game is meant for someone with different ideas of what fun are.

So the current strategy is to mega juice maps with all the rarity in the world, the proper sextants, the proper scarabs, do a specific map that doesn't have the boss up right away so all the alters cannot select boss mods, clear the map and then go back and pop your rarity gen content like Legions and hope to get lucky? It's something like that right? If the modifiers are just random but you can still convert uniques to currency that you multiple that strategy is going to be exactly the same.

Next manifesto iirc is the Altar manifesto. No more early bossing I'm guessing.

Meta has always been add as many mobs and as much rarity as you can clear in 2 minutes. Unless you're target farming nothing will likely ever change that.

That's been the game since they added MF gear in various forms. I think you're just looking for reasons to quit.

I agree with OU Ariakas OU Ariakas - every time I see this:

We're expanding the pool of mods available

I cringe. Constantly expanding mod pool is, and long has been, in my humble opinion, one of the worst aspects of this game's development.

Hey, everyone, we are going to make ailments a real core part of the meta so we have to introduce a whole new slate of offense and defense on every piece of gear.

I skipped a couple of leagues and came back to spell suppression being not only a new thing but another required level of defense and, hence, new affixes on your gear.

Oh, you're right. I forgot about the altar manifesto. There almost certain to shake up the bossing/altar strategies.

It's in an acceptable state because they nerfed it to oblivion to where it was actually EASIER than what it was before archnemesis.

AN just didn't work. At all.

I agree. Its not so much expanding the mod pools because inherently that gives choice which is good. Its that it makes progression in its current form feel worse and worse the more they go on. And back to the having to interact with trade and the annoyances that come with it.

Would be nice if instead of just stacking the most + mobs/rares meta they could allow people to choose their end game based on what they want to farm even more so then what it is now. Want these affixes and this type of item you can do x, y, and z type of strategy on your map. With the invention of the Atlas Passives they are progressing toward that, but their distrust for deterministic progression doesn't clash well with their massive fucking item game.
