Yeah problem is Flicker is like play 10mins, take a break for 5mins cause of all the fucking non stop movement. Shit's way too annoying imo. But I'd like a skill that behave similarily, just less random patterns.
For example, a damage version of Whirling Blades. Make it so it has say a cooldown, but the cooldown resets on certain conditions like hitting 3 enemies or expanding a frenzy charge(kinda boring though as that's like Flicker) so it's not a movement skill and doesn't eclipse whirling blades entirely. Then make it do high damage. So you can zip around groups of shit just slashing them down, would look cool and be kinda fun I think, especially against bosses where you just slash back and forth around them.
Maybe a skill that stacks buffs on you on every hit, and once you reach max you get a temporary buff that makes the skill do big damage in an aoe or whatever. The base skill itself wouldn't be too good but not horrible, the max stage would be very strong but would need to be restacked every x seconds. It'd favor very high attack speed builds with like dual wielding, sword nodes, fast swords, to stack as fast as possible then get better uptime on the buff. Can use melee splash to make it aoe, and it'd have a rythm where you mow down the trash then explode rares/unique mobs with the buff then go find more trash and so on.
I don't know I'm just not a fan of the current melee skills.
