It's still more random than armor in most situations. You may dodge 50% of hits, but maybe the 50% of hits you dodge were the wimpy archers and the 50% of hits that land are the assrape boss attacks instead of armor smoothing all damage taken by a flat amount.

No, it's still a flat amount of damage per hit. Promenade boss is about 10k lightning damage every time she's hit or 2500 after resists. Ball Lightning ticks every 0.2 seconds so you die basically instantly. 50 stack blade vortex will instagib you on thorns cast even from the trash mobs.

This league is my favorite so far. Way better than the "dont go in the chaos storm" one which is the last one I played.

I saw the elemental stuff because i looked it up after you mentioned it but I think I have a better idea 8)

My Reaver is now much more effecient now that I looked up you can socket Vaal Reave and just fire it off and it sets your Reave count to 8 making the AOE nuts

I finally built a CoC character. I don't know why would I play anything else, 20-30c is really low starting cost and it murders bloody everything that stands in my path. What was GGG smoking when they made that ? Especially since the Assassin can do it almost naked, I'm running around with 95% crit only with Ungil's and Death Harp (had nothing better with crit). I would be pretty pissed if I was any mob in Wraeclast - you have this crazy guy running around in a bathrobe and with a shitty bow randomly unleashing torrents of bullshit wherever he decides to plink his arrow, wiping the whole map.

The only downside is that you can't do Vorici missions.

Ya its pretty dank but maybe not the most fun to play

I'm finishing cruel with it now but have been ultra slow and lazy

Like haven't even looked up buying an iron commander on PoE trade levels of lazy with tons of currency banked

Its 1c dawg. Biggest build issue is buying the Astra. In PSC I'm kicking myself I didn't buy that perfect +100 Astra Cadiro was selling me.

I figure since I actuallylikerunning flame totem builds I may like this one as well. I still may just roll up a chieftain since this will be my first foray into Hardcore.

Got the MF CA up to 80 and now I grind to 90.

Need to figure out a second character. Is voltaxic a fun build?

If I liked whirlwind barb in D3 what should I try that is similar?

Cyclone or Blade Vortex CoC, dunno which class is good for that these days - you roll around the map proccing all your shit and everything explodes.

voltaxic is insanely fun to play and easy to scale. Pick champion duelist and you'll breeze through everything really

Cleared lab, quite the HC experience

Best thing about totems or siege ballistas in there was using them to block darts as I ran past, the darts do not pierce

Got to Lvl 60 with 3 ballistas now, might sell normal boss kills a while to finish gearing
