Grants your hits a 25% chance to gain 25% of Non-Chaos Damage as Extra Chaos Damage,
5% chance to gain 50% of Non-Chaos Damage as Extra Chaos Damage and
5% chance to gain 100% of Non-Chaos Damage as Extra Chaos Damage.

That got gutted real quick.

Trickster is 100% fine to do all content with even cut in 1/2, especially if you're doing GC physical, converting to cold, and then converting all to fire. The defensive numbers for trickster are so good too.

it says "on shield". while inc defenses from shield, is the same as increased global defenses, or other passives.
also, the best shields are already 1032.4dps 1h weapons.

2807armor/15=187.13 =374.26min to 534.39max +132-198 base for 506.2min to 732.4max at 1.667 a/s=1032.4 average dps.

If, you could had another 120% in shield defenses from passives...

That seems really poor design then, cause there's barely anything that scales shield throw damage on the tree otherwise, since most nodes are melee physical, or weapon damage. You could only scale the damage via projectile damage(there's not a lot) and physical damage while holding a shield.

PS: No one is gonna have a 2807 armor shield in league for a long, long time.

sure. but its just for comparison. the "best" eternal sword is 667.5dps. with 257-442phys. 1.91a/s. (although does have better crit.)
SST can have significantly higher potential damage values. (it presumably doesnt get dual-wield. But the MH is an automatic stat stick)

But theres a solid amount of physical attack, projectile damage, projectile attack.
Personally I think crit is out of the picture, due to poor scaling.
Ele conversion seems like a no brainer as well though.

maybe the "Existing characters who have completed the prerequisite quest (Map to Tsoatha) will already have the skill point and can instead collect the new reward for the Tear of Tsoatha quest." is the rest of the threshold jewels.

Korrupt Korrupt i think i want to explore an ascendant sab trap or mine build but not finding one on the forums. do you have any suggestions on a build for this? what would a good ascendancy be paired with this?

Yeah ele conversion seems to be the answer to everything, again. I didn't want to but if what you're saying about the shield defense nodes is true then there's legit is not enough nodes that support a phys damage version of the skill.
