I've done the id and evaluate everything thing and I've done the chaos recipe thing, and I'm very sure I come out way ahead by using the unid chaos recipe. For every one drop that's worth an exa, there's at least several hundred that are worth somewhere between what the vendor will give you and an alch. Even if you broke even on the currency itself, you lose all the time spent dicking around with your stash and the glorious PLAYER INTERACTION that you could have been doing more maps and temples instead. If you like doing uber lab it's even worse since you cannot leave it at all.

Whats the process of unid chaos recipe? You just pick up everything and sort it in a quad stash? Might have to try that out and see how much I make.

Yeah, I keep a row of each armor piece, 1x3 weapons/2x3 bows, and a couple rows of belts. Limiting factor is always jewelry, though it's much better this league since incursions drop a lot of rings and amulets when you're fully clearing them. I use the chaos recipe preset from filterblade, so each slot has a different border color and I can quickly grab whichever ones I need to stock up on after a boss kill or incursion loot explosion. I also chose a handful of potentially valuable bases that I will pick up and id, mainly stuff like vaal regalias, hubris circlets, and sorcerer boots since I'm playing CI, and made those show up a bit larger and darker colored. That said, I'm 0 for however many I've picked up of those items so far. ES is really damn hard though, all it takes is one low tier prefix and the item is trash.

In the low 40's now, game is a lot of fun, I should have picked it up ages ago. Did the Labyrinth thing and got the Ascendancy; really a nice power boost. I can plop down 3 glacial cascade totems now rapidly and they last like 16 seconds, just annihilates the screen.

Still have no clue on proper gearing and I just vendor everything that doesn't raise the DPS of my main skill if I equip it, heh.

I'd just keep anything that has good life/resist rolls while leveling, don't need much else. I"m assuming as a GC build you eventually will scale crit chance but you usually don't do that until higher levels/maps.

Crit Chance isnt something you usually scale on gear. Diamond flasks are so OP that its easy to get a very good crit rate with just nodes on the tree. The thing youll start looking for that will scale your damage best is phys added as xx damage on Shaper gear. It shows up on weapons and amulets. I dont know if youre using mines or not, but if you are youll want a 'Place an additional mine' helm. Its basically a free 25% damage boost.

Currency tab and a premium stash tab bundle are the most important. Map tab would be closely behind those, followed by the div card one.

I'm not a big fan of the quad tab, the icons are too damn small. I only use mine for the aforementioned unid chaos recipe hoard.

Essence tab isn't that great anymore, you really don't get that many of them in newer leagues. Still glad I have it, but new players could easily skip.

Fragment tab seemed like a shitty cash grab to me and I will likely never buy one. Even 55 coins is still a ripoff, it should never have cost more than the essence tab considering how little it really holds.

Map tab is a must imo.

Is there a really good guide on valuing shit, or highlighting what we should be looking for on items?

I feel like the unid chaos recipe is a gigantic waste of fucking time. The amount of time spent inventory/stash managing would be FAR better served by just running more maps/incursions. A lot of people like to use the, "Well, it's great for early chaos!" argument. The problem with that argument is that by the time you can even do the unid recipe, you can farm Blood Aqueduct. Not only does it drop cards for a Tabula (which is worth a solid chunk of chaos early), but you also have the Vaal ruins that show up and drop the new Vaal skills. I'm still selling some of the more popular ones for 0.25-0.5c and was at 1-2c/each when the league first started.

Gigantic waste of time to me is selling anything worth less than 1c early on, or 2-3c at this point. I'm not leaving my map for that.

Unid chaos recipe takes me practically no time at all, never understood why so many people think it takes more than a few seconds to keep on top of it.

I'm with Vorph on this one, pretty easy to devote even a regular stash tab and keep 3 sets of gear rolling at all times. Easier to see shit on the regular tab for this kind of thing too.

What are these vaal skills worth anyway? I found a Vaal Blade vortex one which I think I've seen mentioned around

I was too chicken to use my actual 6L belly in the corruption thing in temple so I did a tabula rasa. No change but it got the corrupted label. Oh well at least it didn't poof and it was spare.

I was scrolling through my achievements and I got the "turn something to all white sockets" one so it looks like I would have had a very expensive belly if I would have just yoloed.

So how is this season? Better than the pokemon season? I haven't played since harbinger but I was thinking of creating a new arc mage.

In my opinion, its the best league they've ever done. Arc is fun as fuuuuck too.

I'm an Arc witch myself, and love it. Almost level 89.

I made my second char a poet's pen arc/lightning warp with all the flashiest MTX as possible. This league is the best yet and making new chars is damn awesome!

I've seen many people say it's the best league they've ever done. Some don't like it but generally speaking, it's been very well received, and they haven't needed to patch anything league related other than bugs and shit like that.

It's pretty solid, you get a bunch of free loot every area you do(assuming you find Alva, but you find her most of the time), and every 11 area you get a free giant area with a lot of loot and a lot of options to piss gear away and maybe if the RNG gods are with you, make a lot of money. Basically, you get both free xp and free items, in a fairly well integrated wa, (the small incursions are compact and the transition to them is seamless so you don't waste time while mapping, and the big temple is just an area of its own, you can ignore it if you want but it's basically a few free maps worth of xp/loot.

It also comes with a solid amount of changes in the patch, making a lot of older skills less shit/very strong, so even though the new skills are kinda whatever(trap skills, if that's your thing they're great) people are having fun instead of playing the same thing they've been playing for a few leagues.

Omnitect could use a bit of a boost, in both risk and reward.

That said, very good league, best since I've started(tail end of Breach).

Yet you're going to take the time to pick up 9-10 yellows, manage the space in your tabs, inventory, etc. and only make 2c for that effort? Your post is such an oxymoron.
