You have go off into the darkness during a delve, not at the nodes(there is an exception to this). Basically, you want to explore any side areas that the crawler doesn't go. If you're quick enough, you can open chests and fossils that are worth your time and scoot back to the crawler before the darkness and mobs can kill you, but this usually requires a decent amount of life regen. Good regen also helps in that you can stand in the darkness while a wall blows, and only have to spend a flare inside the room.

Sometimes you will find a fractured wall near a node. These lead to nodes that have no path. Usually not worth the effort until you get much deeper. And they are usually a pain in the ass to ascertain which is the connecting node unless you have a 2fer in the vicinity.

Is there any reason for any spell build NOT to run Molten Shell(or Phase run) linked to L20(or whatever's reasonable in the buff duration) Arcane Surge? This seems especially powerful for Indigon builds since they can easily manage the L20 version. Hell, I bet there's a way to automate this through AHK such that you wouldn't even need Increased Duration support.

basically just space in your items. Instant skills enabled a few you things you couldnt do like that before.
Phase run has a CD, but can be used for the movespeed buff fairly well now.

VD/unearth is scrub tier leveling, go with arc/lw and some prolif.

Can you elaborate on this? I leveled my current character to 71 with VD/Bodyswap/Unearth, but I'm about to start a secondary character.

Finally found my first wall at around 80 depth, and found another one on the very next delve.

The scrub part was sarcasm. Volatile Dead and Unearth are fine for leveling but it's not outstanding due to the delay of having to frequently make your own corpses(low density). Arc, HoI, and prolif will just blow packs up as you warp through them.

Note, this is in context of Poet's Pen.

I need to start leagues in the first day. Haven't crossed 80 depth in delve and already found a Taste of Hate and the unique red jewel that is a poor man's Headhunter.

Arc - Ice Bite - Elemental Prolif in one pen, Lightning Warp - Less Duration - Swift Affliction in the other. HoI - Ice Bite - Innvervate - Elemental Prolif somewhere else.

Tested my Nebuloch MS Jugg against Uber Elder, didn't get past 50%. Multistrike, melee, and a relatively slow Leap Slam just doesn't seem fit for that fight. Shame, he's a pretty good character just about everywhere else.

Anyone else have more luck with similar character on that fight?

Bricked a shaper set today and got a grand total of 1 t12 map from the 5 well rolled guardian maps I did so now I get to look forward to running another 5000 maps to try and get those back to get another set. Such fun, many wowe.

Engineering Eternity did Uber elder quite a few times with a hybrid MS/Consecrated path jugg with Nebulochs. He has a build guide that probably has one of the Uber elder kills in it (or on his twitch).

The key to MS is ancestral call aiming and hit-and-move. Basically make sure you're getting the boss with as many balls as you can (make sure you have +life on hit via rings as well) and just blasting a set of attacks and moving. Any damage you take should just be random projectiles and as a jug you should just lose 1/3 of your hp and then regen that shit back up quickly.

Yeah melee skills on uber elder just take some getting used to, the times I did him in beastiary was using blade flurry which is probably even harder than MS since you basically have to dry hump them for it to hit. Failed it a lot til I got the hang of it then it wasn't that bad.

I'm running Vitality and Watcher's Eye, so I'm getting LoH from there. The problem I'm having is multistrike, slow leap slam, and kaom's roots feels sluggish. I tried a few portals with a Brightbeak, damage just wasn't there.

Yeah the slow leap slam is probably the worst part. Flurry chars generally have a super fast whirling blades so it makes movement a bit easier.

On another note I think I might call it quits on my charged dash char. Clears maps fast but dies faster than any char i've ever played unless I was speed-levelling with 1500hp in act 10 type stuff. Have 5.5k life so honestly I have NFC what the problem is (maybe it's partly a side effect of delves even tho i'm only at ilvl 80 depth 210ish but stupid stuff happens in maps too). Got 1shot twice in a row in 2 vaal city nodes a few mins ago and the only mod the nodes had was 96% extra lightning damage...

I think endurance charges are super powerful. I have an inquis without endurance charges and he does insane DPS with MS, but he can get gibbed fairly easily my multi proj or something. But endurance charges just fucking reduce so much damage and the longer immortal call is amazing. I think they're almost a must have for deeper delving. Need Warlord's Mark blasphemy or shaper rings with it or something.
