There's a 2min uber elder cyclone kill, so scales perfectly fine. The main issue have been all the bugs associated to chanelling and cyclone specifically(too many actions shit). I think a bunch were fixed though.

Crating only adds one suffix or prefix on an item and you're limited by what's on the item already.
You can make items using multimodding (adding lots of crafted mods to one item) which is how people get weapons that are specific to their builds. It uses alot of currency and it can fuck up and you have to start again unless you take an imprint of it before you change it.
You should watch Ziz's video on how to craft physical weapons as you can hit something decent quite easily. With 66 chaos you're probably best off doing a high end base and using a fossil craft.

Got dictators on a jeweled foil (14 melee range is the best on thrusting swords) in 100 ish alts that im gonna multimod once i have the recipes. And in general i pretty much know what i should do to get my dps higher as my budget allows and im going to spec out of RT into crit.
I'm wondering though what do you other cycloners do for survival (slayer in my case)?
Im fine most of the time cause im so mobile but then i get 1 shot (most often by legions rares) with 5.6k hp and fortify up. I could probably get that up to 6.5k, cause im using some low health uniques like daressos devotion, haemophilia, le heup and belt of the deciever. But atleast daressos and haemophilia fill a pretty big function which might not be worth getting rid of even though if i did i could get 2 crafts of +1 melee range. No matter the case i dont think its gonna be easy for anyone to get to the 8-10k healthpool range. Am i missing something or do i just need to play better cause i still think i will get 1shot with 6.5-7k hp.

With the right affixes legion mobs will still one shot you even with 7k. They seem to one shot people with 8-9k EHP with a bunch of damage reduction, and since they do their "charge" animation offscreen, you basically just run into them as they fire their big shit and you die instantly. Won't happen too often, but should happen, most rip videos from this league of the SSF HC race have been people getting insta gibbed to Legion stuff, and even after the nerf Aila died with like 8.5k in one shot on a map with no damage mods.

Ok so i asked in global chat and now im confused...I had assumed that with the 8% crit chance slayer talent getting crit chance+qual suffix would be worse than accuracy+qual because the crit wouldn't help and the base crit chance would still be 8%...But the impression i got from global was that it would buff the 8%. I checked with PoB and it suggests that global is wrong and the crit chance would be wasted (gave the weapon 100% increased crit chance and then the talent is a damage debuff in PoB).

You're meant to dodge the spears, the mobs have a fairly lengthy animation before they throw. The problem is they aggro offscreen and start charging, so if you flame dash/shield charge/quicksilver with high movespeed into them, they basically just shoot you right in the face. It's a bit like if you dash into a shaper slam that started offscreen on Uber Elder, although it's a lot easier to keep Shaper in sight, or hear his slam, or even react since he doesn't slam instantly on teleport.

The new molten shell seems like a good answer for melee survivability IMO. You need a ton of armor to make it really OP though. HOWEVER! I saw a good trick for that somebody was using, Iron Reflexes + a jade +3000 evasion and '+80% armor during effect' potion + granite potion (typically lion's roar but damn, that's .7 EX right now). He was using it to go with the ES regen from a magna eclipsis shield, but the concept I think works for molten shell as well.
I've been trying it with a CWDT setup, but for really big hits I think that's too late to make it good. I think you're going to have to use it as a pre-emptive 'OH SHIT' button for it to have the desired effect. IE: here comes those legion mobs, pop your armor + evasion pots + molten shell. This seems to make sense to me, as their doesn't seem to be enough life nodes in the bottom left side of the tree without traveling to the templar or ranger area, but there's tons of +% armor nodes down there now if you look.
Maybe this strategy is the way forward?

Stupid internet. Everyone’s wisened up and aren’t listing 250pdps jeweled foils for cheap with an empty craftable slot (and potential 350+ dps). I guess I have to spend actual currency for end game weapons. Unless these ahns might and prismatic eclipse can carry me thru red maps. Think I either need to up from 5l to 6l or upgrade my weaps in order to get thru red maps, but not sure which upgrade path will be cheaper. I def don’t have fusing rng so buying a decent str based 6l base would be the way to go

Ugh. I have 6 linked exactly one item ever in a total of almost 6k fusings. I either buy them or just spend 1.5k on a bench. It’s fucking disgusting to spend 1500 fusings and not link an item knowing I should’ve just crafted it on.

So is Poe trade just fucked for everyone? If i get any result from searching at all it takes like 40seconds but 95% of the time i just get no result at all.
Just sucks cause i respecced and now i need to update my gear cause my health actually went down (less str, same inc health %) and i just die too easily now.

I am playing a 2H slayer cyclone. not bad so far and I am very new to PoE (2nd character).
I would say early game was fine (llvling using Sunder), but changing to Cyclone without proper gears/skill points were not. I died often when first got to ACT6, after buying a much better 2nd weapon then it got better. With good tri-resistances, I start facerolling everything. Currently I am in T6 maps, doing delving on the side
