Occultist is still very strong though. And can pick up all the necessary nodes to get back to 85% of old occultist. Vortex itself is a beast ability. I’m thinking that malevolence watcher eye was sorta “mandatory” to get decent end-game scaling though.
They did say he new influences will have some juicy stuff for dots in the AMA.
I tried to come up with a bleed pop glad bow/ballista build. I still don’t see how you get the kind of life sustain with ballistas. No leech. No MoM on that side. I’d probably pick up Cloak of Defiance but then I expect mana issues. The life regen isn’t that close. And it slings you into elemental land anyway. I’m sure there’s a way to do it; just need to dick with it more. Puncture bleed canon pops with Glad sounded fun. Maybe use arrow nova support?
This is why I keep going chieftain. The artillery ballista does sound cool.
Divine ire totems is going to be amazing for the league mechanic and bossing. Get the spell totem robe and a +1 shaper shield and enjoy shocking the shit out of bosses. Clear is janky though and subject to typical one shots.

Im doing storm burst myself, but my god does ED/Contagion look like it will kick ass with some of the awakened gems. I may use that as a second build if I get that far. Also..still really curious how the new atlas will affect things and if we can 'brick' our atlas somehow. It may be a good idea to leave one region at white maps and one at yellow. Especially if all characters share an atlas. It would kinda suck starting a new character only to get to maps and have to start out doing tier 14's if all the regions were upgraded.

Yes, I should clarify though my build is a pledge of hands build, so +1 wand isn't an option.

I'm thinking last minute swap to Cobra lash pathfinder, last second.
I was not super big into the swap from deadeye to Elementalist for Burning arrow. sounded like a pita.
Going through this for ideas, mathils going on about how much he liked Cobra lash assassin for a starter. sounded good, and something I haven't played.

Played Cobra Lash pathfinder last league. I liked playing it a lot. However, it didn't work with Blight well at all.
