Can a link to that build? I think I was looking for something like that to try out but ends up with an aldori duelist setup but not sure I'm overly happy with it.Pathfinder is absolutely brutal early on non optimized chars. This is not DnD 5e cakewalks. Even the Pally tank you get, she gets fucking wrecked by the water elemental in the maze.
My reroll went back to what I know works from Kingmaker with my Cha based Monk/Sorc/Pally tank. Traditional tanks that soak damage just suck donkey dick in this game, on even challenging difficulties monsters hit way too hard so you have to build to not get hit at all. Think fully buffed vs the water elemental he had ~32 AC by level 2 on that fight vs the 22-23 of the NPC pally with a couple potions. Im making her into an offtank slayer.
I went Human, Crossblooded Sorc to get Mage Armor (do whatever, I picked Undead and Gold Dragon as some kind of spirit of a dead dragon inside of him), then lvl 2 Scaled Fist Monk (uses cha as AC), lvl 3 Warrior of Holy Light Paladin (which I like a lot of what they get). 7 Str 16 Dex 15 Con 13 Int 7 Wis 19 CHACan a link to that build? You can make retarded ass AC characters in Pathfinder.I went Human, Crossblooded Sorc to get Mage Armor (do whatever, I picked Undead and Gold Dragon as some kind of spirit of a dead dragon inside of him), then lvl 2 Scaled Fist Monk (uses cha as AC), lvl 3 Warrior of Holy Light Paladin (which I like a lot of what they get). 7 Str 16 Dex 15 Con 13 Int 7 Wis 19 CHA
The Divine Grace Pally bonus to saves from your CHA mod should offset all the bad stats. With Crane Style and Fighting defensively, Dodge feat etc, it really adds up AC fast. I havent seen how difficult it is to get scrolls/potions (since Im only level 3)from the Brew Potion/Scrollmaking skills so could be Sorc isnt even needed? The bomb thing is you get stuff like Use Magic Device, Persuasion checks etc as gravy on this build and Charisma just makes it all go. I also took the regional background that gives dueling sword proficiency. It does shit damage right now, but I dont care...I just want things swinging at him and missing everything. Once I get Smite Evil etc later on it should more than hold its own on important fights.
Even at lvl 3 his touch AC is something godly like 23-25 in combat I think and I havent even gotten the feat that adds AC from the dueling sword yet.
I love this game really. But boy this is the one game I wish I had more inventory space and more storage. Named weapons, consumables, hundreds of items that looks like they are questrelated or relevant. My inventory looks a japanese student flat in Tokyo all the time.
I got topside this time and got a few more followers. Pally is my tank. Camellia is interesting since her alignment is "unidentified" I assume there is something with her story that will come up.
Then I got Ember and she certainly got a very strange starting story I want to know more about. Then Woljif. I really liked having another melee DPS. If for nothing else to utilize loot better. But don't like him as a character so far.
Lann is 3x dps of anyone else, so he is in by default.
Then I met Nenio. Just by her opening, I like her more than Woljif.
With me as a sorc summoner, I just feel like I have too many casters. I get lots of named weapons, but nobody uses them since Pally = longsword and Camellia is rapiers.
Thinking of restarting again for the last time. Going as Bloodrager Primalist with a focus on dual wielding weapons. 3 people in melee range, 1 pet (Lann), 1 longbow, 2 casters. Neino can be replaced by a cleric since I assume I get one of those eventually.
Or can I respec my character in game and change everything including class? I wouldn't mind restarting since I am only around 2h in, which I can probably reach in an hour or less skipping dialogue that I know now.
PS: Trip on pets is so good. Currently have two leopards in the party, one with bully line (extra trip) and they are like a moving grease with DPS attached to it.

Ya without even being a D&D theorycraft master I took slumber. My sanctified slayer loves coup de grace when it succeeds. Any best way to increase the odds of that succeeding? Like, I think, fort debuffing the enemy or something?
Edit: I see evil eye was mentioned. I'll peep that.
Aight coo that will get sleep to land better. Then I need to get reduction to fortitude saving throw on enemy.
