he wrote season 2 of peacemaker and will be directing some eps but not all, and i guess the waller show (who asked for this?) is still happening

he also said season 1 of peacemaker is not canon in the new DCU but season 2 will be so... thats weird

because the references made in season 1 are references to Zach Snyder's DCEU and the references in season 2 will be James Gunn's DCU.

yes, the inspiration came from a person Varney knew in real life. so anyone attempting to remake this would be remaking Varney's performance. there is nothing else to base this off of.
