Starting to see a few diehard pokemon fanbois come out on the internet for this one. They somehow think that Reynolds is negligible and simply having a pokemon movie itself is going to drive hordes of millennials to the theaters and it would still be a blockbluster even without him. He's going to double (or more) the gross for it and no amount of 90s nostalgia can do that.

I get it to an extent. You have such an association with an actors voice that it kind of takes you out of the other movie.
It was impossible to take Jeff bridges seriously in Arlington Road just because it came out right after the big Lebowski.

Like a much bigger, thicker Charizard. Charizards are only about 5 feet tall, Dragonites are about 7 feet tall and weigh well over twice as much.

I still think Charizard and Dragonite are two of the coolest "monsters/creatures".
I went back and looked at some of the old, original Pokemon cards. Some great art there, just the whole card creation is great. This movie is going to make so much money, some of it will be mine. Fuck it.

When I saw that I assumed Mr Mime used Light Screen / Reflect and that's what Pikachu slammed into.
I used to think Mr Mime was one of the worst Pokemon designs, until the game where they first animated him and he instantly became one of my favorites. The way he moves cracks me up and it's really different from all the other Pokemon.
