The old bastard is rethinking his life choices that led him to this. Maybe he should not have screamed all day!

Found this one of the best girl in the whole wide world sizing up the fiercest foe in the animal kingdom.

Or in my backyard, whatever.

Also, this is right after I got home after being out of the house for 6 months. I don't wanna hear shit about the condition of the pool.

My neighbor had three dogs. One named Millie. Millie is an incredibly sweet and good mannered dog. Apparently she also has a 6'+ vertical...

She can do this from the side of the fence without poles or crossbeams, but then apparently can't figure out how to get back into her yard. She'll do this, wander around in the alley, and when I go into the alley will go right to her back gate to wait for me to let her back into the neighbors yard.

Or she'll walk around the end of the block, go to my neighbors front door and wait there for him. I told him he needs to install a doorbell on a button at snout height and teach her to press it when she comes around. heh

My border collie was like that when he was young. I put him in my grandmother's back yard which has a 6 foot fence just like that one thinking he couldn't get out of it. I went into her house and before I even got my coat off, he was standing at her front door wanting to come in. I took him back to the yard and told him to jump the fence just to see if he could actually do it and he didn't even hesitate.

Stuffed a tennis ball inside of one of those "indoor quiet" balls

Maximum hilarity ensues. Strongly recommend.

I've always wanted to harness train my cats. Arya I was able to teach her to get into the harness fine, but I would just walk her around my old apartment hallway and the slightest noise she would freak out at. Tried to expose her plenty to that before I tried taking her outside, but she never got over it, so I never felt safe doing anything more. Sansa is a diva and absolutely refuses to let anything touch her poof, treats and churu be damned.

We have never harness trained ours but one of the two likes to be shoulder carried outside for 10-15 minutes at a time when it’s nice out.

So this poor little monster had to have a dental exam today. Apparently she has gingivitis but we dont know the extent of it yet. Today she had a dental cleaning and a small biopsy to determine what exactly is happening inside that kitty maw. The four tiny little chomper teeth between her lower k9s were also extracted today as they had already become loose and the vet was afraid of infection if they came out on their own/by accident one day. She came through it all fine, but was a little wobbly when we got her home. Worst part is the other two cats are very aggressive towards her, growling and hissing. I assume because of the new/strange scents on her, hopefully that works itself out soon

Reminds me of something which happened with our cat Buddy. We had him for probably 3 years before this. He had always just had absolutely horribly "kitty breath", up on that "what are they feeding you?!?!" level of smelly. But we'd never seen anything to indicate anything and the vets had never mentioned it other than one saying that some cats simply suffer from halitosis...

A vet finally gives him a really good oral exam and he's got two rotten teeth, which means he had them for pretty much his whole life. Got those pulled and perfect breath. And the 8 hours he was getting over anesthesia he was the most affectionate (if clumbsy) cat I'd ever seen.

In my little twerps case, she never gave any indication of bad breath or anything wrong with her mouth (luckily cause she likes to give nose boops). She had been coughing a lot so I took her in to make sure she didnt have some respiratory nonsense happening (she didnt, just allergies, thanks pollen!) but the vet looked in her mouth and was like 'well here's a problem". I guess it's good to get it taken care of while shes young. Now if the other cats would just settle the fuck down. Our oldest cat swats at her if she gets close and constantly hisses at her. She doesnt understand and just wants to cuddle like normal but he's having none of it.

Dad’s been working with Penny to get her sitting and holding without being a spaz. We’ll see how she does with a duck this fall!
