I can live with no free time, it's the physically exhausting shit after working 10 hours a day. She wants to workout 7 days a week and I have to force her to not workout every few days. It's like that episode of full house where DJ thinks she's fat so she stops eating and goes ape-shit in the gym until she passes out. I even made my wife watch that episode.

I mean on the plus side my wife is still skinny but has the giant baby bump. It's like when you see those models get pregnant and they gained 0% body fat minute the baby.
That I can understand, my wife had me doing all kinds of things over the summer, when shes off because shes a teacher. I'd get home from work and she'd have a list for me to do, then tell me, she took a couple hour long naps during the day.

We don't do shit during the week, we do any and all projects on the weekends. our average weekday with a 2 year old usually looks like:

I get home from work at 5 and start cooking dinner while trying to keep the 2 year old from wrecking the house while my back is turned
Wife gets home at 6, we all eat.
7-8 is bathtime for the kiddo, and then pajamas and storytime, kid is in bed by 8

So from 8pm on is parent free time. Watch tv, play video games, whatever. My wife is usually asleep by 10, I'm up until 12.

Then we save all of our projects(yardwork, grocery shopping, whatever) for the weekend. Since the kid is only 2, its not like his weekend is full of soccer practices or school activities yet.

Things don't really get hectic until your kids are in school, pre-pregnancy and the first few years after birth are pretty laid back compared to what I see family members with school-aged children doing all the time.

I'm lucky. My wife and I mostly just sit around and make jokes about how we aren't doing all the stuff we should be doing.

And I don't mind doing stuff.. but I'm essentially getting no downtime right now. It's stressing me out in a major way right now, and when I bring it up she gets all salty saying I'm always looking for excuses not to do things. I'm attributing it to being an irritable pregnant woman, but I am just running ragged all the time now.

Yeah, you won't be getting any downtime once the baby comes either. I know most guys want to take advantage of these last "baby free" days but the reality is that time was over as soon as you saw the + on the stick.

I've been able to continue my guild leadership responsibilities in ArcheAge through a pregnancy and baby. While buying a house and carrying projects at work.

Sorry I am just really tired today. I will keep my guild leadership and hire 2 sub-mods to do my bidding here

You're in prime nesting mode right now Noodlebro. That shit ends with the baby. Then you'll be exhausted from not sleeping. Tuco apparently got lucky and has a wife that lets him play video games all night/all day.

I am not sure which one of these is Tuco's house but it is definitely his neighborhood.

Nesting is real and its a bitch! With our first child my wife was very laid back at the beginning and didn't want to do to much for the baby room. She just wanted a crib and a few extra things added to our spare room. I offered to paint or do whatever and she said over and over we didn't need to do that junk. Well a few weeks before the little guy gets here, I am not only painting the room but half the house as well. The kicker was that she couldn't be here with all the fumes as I spent my weekend cleaning and painting while she stayed with some friends...

Child number 2 saw us get a new car and much needed new furniture but the dozens of trips to the different stores was enough to drive me crazy. First child and I had to move all my stuff (old video games, bike gear, snowboard gear) to the shed and with number 2 I saw some of my stuff moved to the dump to make more room for kids stuff. so yeah nesting sucks but our house looks really nice and whatnot.
