Some of you guys really have a flare for the dramatic and really know how to point blame at inconsequential shit and pretend it's the culprit for a certain lack of success. Did/do you have that hard of a time being yourself around women? Do they mock you openly and you need to point at something and say "see, it's not me, it's this thing right here!". You're actually a prime candidate to join the TRP ministry.

You can't even get that shit right. Nowhere does he say women are evil, liars, or whatever. He blanket says you need to own the fuck up and quit looking for a mommy. No shit. I disagree with the lonely old man shit. I was good single for three years after marriage. I was good single for the 4 years prior to marriage.

I'm just confused about why "being able to live maturely on your own" is such a fucking revelation that requires some nameless guy with a keyboard to tell it to you.

I had some of the best times of my life when I bought my first house and was single. Fuck were those damn good times. And I would not have one fucking problem living out my life alone. I always gravitated to being a loner anyway throughout my life. And to tell you the truth if shit ever went south between my wife and I , I would probably never get married again. I enjoy my time alone as much if not more than I do spending it with my family.

But I do get what the dude in the article is saying, the society at large does reflect that.

Some people do fine alone. Antman is not one of those people. He has male room mates to keep him company and hires women when the daddy issues pool runs dry. Being single and being alone are also two different things.

Yeah, at no point in my 20's, 90% of which I spent single, did I ever feel "alone." Nor did I feel the need to pay for hookers or get male roommates despite it not being financially necessary.
