The thing with the redpillis that it works. For the desperate late virgin, it's a self help guide that gives them some bearing on how to behave as a man and how to attract women. They get more success with women than they ever have before and when the desperate finally gets positive results by following a system, it can easily turn into a worship and a belief that it is the only way.

What I hope tho, is those relying exclusively on those things to eventually grow some genuine confidence from the successes they get from the redpilland grow beyond it. There's a pretty big difference between knowing how to behave then behaving accordingly versus actually being the real deal.

People get creeped because the behavior isnt congruent with the personality. Everyone has known a bar star who could pick up sluts on the regular (just make friends with a barman if you dont) and he doesn't creep people out anywhere as much as the try-hard and oddly defensive guy who pick up girls on the regular for one night stands. Something doesn't quite fit with the second character and people pick up on that.

Antarius, these articles you are posting that you think glorify RedPillactually make it look like more of a weird cult. TRP appeals to people down on their luck, sells them on a mantra, teaches them that anyone who challenges these new ideas is an outsider they should scorn, coins a bunch of terms only those "in the know" get, etc. Very cultish.

Stick with the self-improvement part; stay healthy and active, keep on your good career path, pick up a hobby or two that make you feel good. Try meeting people through a club for your hobby, rec sports, Meetup.com, etc that aren't focused on dating. Making new friends helps your confidence and your ability to move on from a bad experience. Drop the revenge fantasy/terminology/cultish part of TRP.

Since you keep talking about how you've had negative experiences with women, you need to figure out how to move past those if you want to have a relationship that goes beyond "I had sex with her, so I won!" Whether that's counseling or talking to friends/family, whatever. Go through the process, and clean the slate. There's nothing wrong with caution, but a broad presumption that all women are manipulative, evil sacks of shit isn't going to lead to a decent relationship. Holding on to everything that went wrong isn't going to make it better, and neither is banging sluts and calling them plates.

That's not exactly what I said. I don't really enjoy masturbation either. I get that sex is fun for most, but what you're doing isn't fulfilling at all, even if you might think it is. Your problem is that you are falling into the trap that you actually think you're avoiding: you NEED women to want to have sex with you in order to feel validated as a person. You are confusing your need for validation with fulfillment.

Likewise, the women you are fucking have the same need for validation, and that's why you're hooking up. They need men to find them attractive enough to have sex with in order to validate themselves as people.

I am using it to get laid more frequently, others are using it to have a more fulfilling relationship with their current significant other. It's mostly just a sexual strategy, it's not some big philosophy about the meaning of life or whatever it is that the people claiming it's a cult think it is.

It's a way of making women more attracted to you. Period. Even if there is self-improvement contained within the knowledge, it mostly is focused on self-improvement that will make women more attracted to you.
