have any of you PvPed yet? lol stop grinding and go bomb people in unrest/mistmoore
Yeah I spent 25-27 in Mistmoore, I'm in good with most of the ragebringer rogues and fungi monks.

I'm that guy who heals whoever wins the 1v1. I'm still OOR of them cuz they're level 35ish.

Totally rolled here last night as a necro, never really played EQ before.

This is going to be the greated adventure of my life.
I started yesterday as well. Got my enchanter to level 4, in game name is Tulo. Hopefully we can group up sometime, need some friends to share the pixels with!

I should be able to be on Friday and Saturday afternoon. Not sure for how long. Where would be a good place to meet up?

Question for guys in the know. Like I said, I have never played EQ (at least not past the beginning levels). I'd like to play a class with high solo-ability and also be able to explore most of the world. I feel like I missed out by not playing this game and would really like to "see it all", so to speak - and I'd also like to play a class that I could pick up fairly easy enough, although I am an MMO veteran so I am not too worried. What are your thoughts on classes that would best suit that?

Definitely druid. That's what I picked. You basically have a version of 95% of the spells in EverQuest, but it's usually not the best version. Jack of all trades, and great solo ability.

Also, ports in everquest are huge. The runs can take a long ass time.

Awesome, I'll roll a druid tonight while i'm raiding in WoW.

I have no illusions of doing massive raiding or anything cool, just want to be able to solo and explore the world. Even though the graphics are dated, I get a rush looking through the zones in this game moreso than I do in any other modern MMO. Just something about the world they built is awe-inspiring to me.
