Please PM me with details,or please elaborate here. If there are exploits in the buy/sell process; I see sudden increases in /balances I will reset everybody and start from scratch. And no, I don't care if people whine.

It adds a very needed level of depth to the game, it truly only serves to make the play experience better. The only thing I would say is to make money less available. IE blocks sell for 1/4th the purchase price, mobs drop less gold, pains me to say this, but remove the reward from the jump puzzle, etc.

Emeralds are one thing that should not be sellable. Too easily exploitable/renewable. Gold buy/sell is the other one I read about in chat.
As for balance spikes earning you a ban I hope you will elaborate because I have a ton of blocks I'd like to sell and will gather a good amount of cash. All mined, no exploit of any kind. I'll hold off until I hear more.
This is going to be a huge headache for you to balance Mc, I do not envy you.
My guess right now is that Mc's trying to take it slow and nerf way down anything he thinks people might use to make too much cash. As long as you can't buy diamonds for this cheap I don't think it's a bad move. Just means people will hold on to their diamonds until the price changes.

McFly, if you're looking to balance an economy, you might at least want to take a look at the previous version of Equivalent Exchange and look at the values that were used there. Obviously nothing is perfect and you might have a particular desire for certain things to cost certain amounts, but it did a fairly good job of equivalency. For example, I believe one piece of coal was equal to a stack of cobble, several pieces of coal equaled one piece of iron, etc. Which is really all that money is doing really; instead of putting it in a special chest and converting one thing to another, all you are doing is converting it to money first. So you could probably save yourself a ton of time by just starting with those values and tweaking anything you want from there, including building in a loss factor or whatever.
Just an idea. Eventually with any sort of exchange mod if someone farms enough they can buy anything no matter what the cost, but perhaps it will delay the inevitable a little.

Apostle what were you thinking about doing for the back wall of the church? I don't know if you're planning on following the typical glass window pattern but if we're going to go nuts with any kind of decorative mural that'd probably be the place.
We haven't really talked about how much warhammer you want to put in the church, but there's a few good options if you want to go that route ex:
