I seem to recall Apo shouting bloody murder in chat on day 4-5 of the server when this exact same thing happened to him. "I missed one block on the church outline and have to redo everything" was, I believe, the gist of the quote.

McFly I have built a... feature... in my little church in the medieval project. Would it be possible to get a layer of lava at the bottom of it at the same level as the lowest pistons?

Oh I can handle the lava myself, but I think that Lava Buckets are turned off.

Happens pretty much every time unfortunately. I've been off all week but yea, it's common after about 2-3 weeks for there to be a drop. This server so far has been up there with the original and the city map in terms of player base and ambition. It's just natural to get tired of logging in after a while when the game is really lacking in goals beyond "Build whatever you want... Just because." Apostles church WILL get finished... No fucking way we're not finishing that after how great it's been shaping up. The problem though is that when people get spread out on playtime, when its only YOU at th site of a megaproject, it can become daunting without any additional help or direction. Still, that project will certainly get done!

The burnout is natural. Let me assure you all that I've been playing Minecraft just as long as anyone and this server will be available for a long time.

I too have been through the burn out cycle but I always enjoy it when playing. So now that I somewhat know how to run a server I'll keep it going as long as possible.

I had actually given some thought to posting a thread on the official minecraft forums to get members. Not too sure that would be a smart move. ^_^
