We just drove 45 minutes on the lawn mower to go pet some goats through the fence. This old guy was laughing his ass off watching us rolling down the road and invited us in to feed them and pet the babies. Him and his wife have grandkids on the other side ofnthe country, so they were really excited we swung in. Never met these people before today, but they seem like a nice couple.

That's amazing. Keep doing things like this with your kids. They'll remember it forever, and be more comfortable around larger animals.

My sister had a few horses. One of them was a total dick and would always try and charge or kick me. Fuck horses.

I used to hang out with some very old codgers who as kids, rode horses to school. This was in very rural Arizona. The youngsters like myself thought that this was the coolest thing but every one of them grew up hating horses because each had a friend growing up that was maimed or killed by a horse.

Coworker thinks I came out of the womb as a redneck with a chew in my lip. Just spent an hour trying to find old pics of me. I, embarrassingly, had white boy dreads for about 12 and a half minutes, but can't find a single picture. All of these are about 15-20years old

You act like there's no blacks in the lotr universe.

Even if he plays a 'white wizard' I don't think anyone would bat an eye other than it not being whoever played them in the movie.
