It's pretty close. I think Goonies was filmed in Astoria. This is a couple hours south. All it reminds me of is The Goonies. I have no idea if its the same beach or not, but it sure is pretty.
Me and the better half waiting for the Celtics game to start! Woooooo!!!
(She's going to kill me for posting this pic of her around the house)

BandwagonNot to be nosey man, but where is that Bandwagon
The scenery makes me feel like that water is frigid, but then you put a pic of floats up and confuse the fuck out of me.Over in Coos Bay itself.

Who drew the twig and berries, you or her?Whew, long fucking drive. Almost stopped at the Tillamook air museum but I'm glad I didn't. Just got back home and I'm pooped
Here's a few more. Mostly kid pics obviously.
And Brahma , I've always liked the Oregon coast because it's so damn easy to find a beach that you can nearly have to yourself. I spend way more time in the water when I lived on Maui, but the Oregon coast is awesome because it's empty so often.

How many approached you trying to insert an Authentic PNW river rock up your ass while telling you birds aren't real because your chakras are blocked?Just took my daughter to a rock & gem club. She seemed to like it and the ~40 or so people were really nice.....but I think about 80% of them are on the spectrum. Holy shit.
That would be 81%.Just took my daughter to a rock & gem club. She seemed to like it and the ~40 or so people were really nice.....but I think about 80% of them are on the spectrum. Holy shit.
Those pics reminded me of our trip to the Colorado dunes when my son was a little dude. The people on the ridge in the second pics helps with scale.

You've added something to my bucket list. That is seriously cool as fuck type shit. I didnt know we had anything like that in the US. (Desert-esque landscape that meets the Mountains.) Your kid will never forget that shit, even if it just seems like "another day with pops taking me out into the middle of nowhere!"Those pics reminded me of our trip to the Colorado dunes when my son was a little dude. It was definitely badass, felt like another planet at times. Make sure you research when to go, the way those dunes work with that river it ranges from 300 to 900 feet. We went in the fall and I believe it was near peak time. Temperature is another thing to consider, it was only 60 degrees when we went and we were sweating. There’s no shade and the sand radiates heat. You've added something to my bucket list. That is seriously cool as fuck type shit. I didnt know we had anything like that in the US.
