Just a reminder people:

One of the major problems that exists in science at all levels is when scientists believe that their theories are truths rather than attempts at explanations. One of the biggest examples of this in theoretical math/science is the acceptance of negative numbers. People now adays simply accept negative numbers as real and existing, when they came into existance simply as a way to explain when human concepts intersect with physical nature. Humans think things up that aren't true all the time, and we really hurt our ability to understand things when we think our concepts have higher meaning or even become accepted parts of nature for no rational reason.

So for all the experiments going on with QE, what is your explanation for how it works?

ex:
JPL | News | Researchers Advance

What is going on here that isn't QE?
I'll wait for them to verify that something is even happening before trying to explain what it might be. I take science one step at a time. QE isn't verified, so theories based on it existing are nonsense.

I linked a paper written by the guy who inadvertently created QE talking about its mathematical problems, shortcoming and possible alternative explanations. The few papers people have pointed toward, I've quoted the exact points where the scientists themselves admit their ideas are not scientifically/observationally proven, and explained for the readers here where they can go to understand why these scientists themselves have to say it. It's interesting people are now trying to change the subject rather than engage me directly. At this point you have the power educate yourself, though I know most of you will not use it.

Time for me to walk off into the sunset for the time being.

I wish this thread was more science news and less people debating scientific theories that they don't understand.

Let me explain QE and the concept behind it in as layman's terms as I can surmise before answering your questions. there's a very long standing idea behind physics that the existence of light speed proves that something has to move faster, we just don't know what it is. QE actually arose as a segment of this string of thought. Field equations in general represent concepts which ignore the speed of light's propagation within them. QE is in essence and attempt to prove this concept by stretching a field to immense size and then show it is still coherent. The fundamental flaw in this approach is you can't know if the coherence is actually the field or an artifact of our earlier manipulation to expand it.

Thus, every single version of this experiment has a loophole which can not be closed without violating the uncertainty principle.

If QE worked, it could be used for FTL communication, but I'm a strong believe that it doesn't. That said, I DO believe in the concept that stuff can be FTL, I just don't think QE is it.
The existence of the speed of light does notprovesthat something moves faster than it. I don't know how this sentence is logical. "Well sir the existence of a building of 10 stories high PROVES that a building of 11 stories high exists somewhere.

Furry, what is your feeling on the double slit experiment? And is light a particle or a wave? Curious as to your beliefs on these very basic questions since you don't believe in qm.

Remember when he said refraction and polarization was responsible for my Quantum tunneling Video, who showed very simply how QT works. So for two pages he was against it, then the next day, turns 180 and says he is not against QM, not QT, just QE.

While Furry is clearly retarded, I do not think his sexual preferences should matter when shitting on his dumb opinions. Attack the message, not the messenger.

PS. Furry is not a smart man.

I don't see how someone could possibly reconcile QM existing, but not QE. The root cause and implications, sure, but denying it exists at all is utter retardation

Lab In Berkeley Accidentally Discovers Solution To Fix Color Blindness CBS San Francisco

Ten million men suffer from color blindness. KPIX 5 went inside the Berkeley lab where the Enchroma CX glasses are made.

"The glasses work by selectively removing certain wavelengths between the red and green cones that allow them to be in essence pushed apart again," said Don McPherson, EnChroma's VP of products.

Correcting color blindness wasn't McPherson's original experiment. "This happened almost by mistake," he recalled.

Really? John Stewart Bell wasn't born until 1928, which is about the same time QE was "discovered". His paper on QE didn't come out until the 1964, and that was just mathematical proof of the non-locality of QE, not the fact that it exists in the first place. It was accepted in the early 30s that it certainly exists, it was just a debate on if it was due to local hidden variables or not.

That's why I asked earlier if you didn't believe in QE at all, or the fact that it involves FTL communication. I suspected you didn't really know what QE was and clearly you don't. You also don't understand the article you linked where you believe he's refuting his own paper.

Of course the first thing that pops into people's minds is "rich old dude transplants head to ripped body of a 20 year old athlete".
Yeah, the possibilities are endless for sci fi stories where people are raised for their bodies to keep 150 year old senile fucks alive. This could be a dream come true for transgenders as well but it's just not practical because of the difficulty in obtaining young healthy bodies.

Cloning. Dug. We'll clone everything EXCEPT the head!

How will it breathe? How will it regulate itself? Who knows! Who cares!

Make it happen science bitches!

Edit: Seriously though, the ethical questions are the least of it. Have you ever looked at a spinal cord? I mean... how the fuck? That's some space-age supercomputer laser surgery shit right there. How are they going to get them to fuse? I don't understand.

Wasn't there a story along these lines a few years ago? I have a niggling deja vu.

Holy fucking shit, this sounds amazing, mainly cuz i'm red-green colorblind.
For those that are curious, it doesn't mean i see shit like a dog "in grey" it just means that i can't really tell the difference between a red apple and a redder apple, shades are just nearly impossible to tell apart.

I've come to explain it to ppl this way, if you look at a square, you see a square (normal person w/o colorblindness). If you look at a circle you see a circle. This is how normal ppl see colors, they're like oh that shit is red, as certain as i'm looking at a square.

well to me if you put two reds side by side, and told me if i picked the brighter one i'd die, that's a honest 50/50 for me. I can't tell if i'm really looking at a rectangle or i'm looking at a square.

It doesn't really affect life, you'd think it'd be hard to drive if you're red/green colorblind being those are 2 of the 3 main colors you see on a goddamn traffic light. But no, you realize you almost never look at a traffic light, you really just "flow" with traffic.

what if i'm the first person? i just look at the positions, top is stop.

yea, i'm legally allowed to drive with that logic, and 8% of men are as red/green colorblind as me.

Sad part is most don't even know they're red/green colorblind, they just think they suck at colors, no you're colorblind, you just never took a test.

http://www.color-blindness.com/ishih...500&height=428

here's my result
According to this test you have some form of red-green color blindness.
