This. There is no reason to buy patented seed unless you think you can make more money planting it than conventional seed and that includes the price of buying the seed instead of saving seed from the previous years crop. If you hate patents and Monsanto then avoiding them is as simple as not buying their seed. Unless these "open source" people are developing something new and patentable and putting it out there unencumbered then this is just some feel good hippy nonsense.Monsanto fucks with farmers by creating a product so desirable they have to have it.
You know a modified plant doesn't have to be modified to the extreme to eventually out compete a wild form in the field relatively quickly. It's just seeds. I don't see how they could put something out on the market that is going to germinate into some malicious, cancer causing, 'feed-me Seymour' type of plant that is going to have an adverse effect on our food supply.
If I spend a summer growing heirloom tomatos and stockpiling all the seeds and then give away all those seeds, wtf does that need to be regulated?
The dumbest thing I've read all week. The "open source" seeds also scare me. Monsanto may be some big evil corporation to hippies, but at least products they put out need to go through a lot of regulatory tests to be brought to market.
There is absolutely nothing that can go wrong with this plan!Kudzu EVERYWHERE
Dude, increase the sugar storage of kudzu and solve the gasoline problem. Yeah, biodiesel is shitty... but when it grows at 3 inches per day who gives a shit!
Sounds like bullshit to me. Is there any news report that have actually tried this?Palcohol: US Government reveals it has approved powdered alcohol - News - Food Drink - The Independent
Something tells me this is gonna be a huge seller.
Tried the product to see if it actually works? I haven't seen any. I do know they added volume to the substance to combat snorting it.Sounds like bullshit to me. Is there any news report that have actually tried this?
Haha sprinkle it on food for an extra kick. Booze addicts are going to love this stuff. I wonder how long it will take for some idiot to OD on this shit?Palcohol: US Government reveals it has approved powdered alcohol - News - Food Drink - The Independent

Heh, that was the first thing I thought of. The vodka sprinkles on eggs sales pitch is pretty lulz though.Tried the product to see if it actually works? I haven't seen any. I do know they added volume to the substance to combat snorting it.
Yeah, half a cup of powder for one drink is a lot.Can I snort it? We have seen comments about goofballs wanting to snort it. Don't do it! It is not a responsible or smart way to use the product. To take precautions against this action, we've added volume to the powder so it would take more than a half of a cup of powder to get the equivalent of one drink up your nose. You would feel all pain for little gain. Just use it the right way.
F: "What's for dinner honey?"Suddenly men everywhere will be willing to cook for their dates.
