I can't say exactly or I get banned. But hopefully I can dance around the Free Speech restrictions here to give you a good idea.
Basically a popular user said something I thought was bad.
I said "yo thats bad".
Certain people said "stop talking about bad thing person said".
Everyone got a verbal warning.
We all kept talking about it.
In the course of that continuing discussion, I was replying to two different people (all of whom were talking about "bad thing" when certain people gave a final warning to stop or be punished. I made a post in response and in that one minute window of me missing the final warning, I was punished. I did not see said final warning because I was in the middle of responding to two separate people.
I was the only person punished. Person who said "bad thing" that we were to "stop talking about" (and who continued to talk about it) was given a PM warning after the fact and enjoys a victory lap (at the expense of Amod and certain people).
I was not afforded that luxury and here I am.
For the record I never reported or asked for any punishment. Punishment was dealt out solely by certain people at their discretion as is their right.
I disagreed and said so while shawed.
I was then banned, while shawed for defending my point of view. Amod said "unban him" but voted to keep me shawed.
Here we are.

Yo Foler, there is a photog thread in SS. I have a KM Maxxum 5d but I use it less and less because of its age. Need something lighter since I like to do deep back country hikes. Also needs to have a Bluetooth/wifi to make it easier to get the pics off the damn thing.

Fuji xt3 is hands down amazing. It's crop sensor but IQ is tits and if you're just posting on social media and not doing print should do fine. For zoom lens grab the 16-55 (remember crop factor will change zoom) 2.8. Now you could go with the new 16-80 f4 ois but you're making some sacrifices here. Just depends on your use cases. Need more details.
Sony is another option but meh.

I'm a total amateur. I'm not going to go balls deep with it, but I do often find myself in interesting places off the beaten path looking for an adventure. Simple and rugged suits me.

Im a full frame dude myself. Yeah its bigger, glass is bigger but results are the best. All can fit in a backpack, but then you have no other space for all your other shit. Other than that, jsut use a cell phone. These days the cellie has got some good shit for amatur photog. I just got the wife the samsing S10+ and holy shit those 5 cameras on that beast are baller. Bonus you dont have to do any transferring, plus I think it captures in raw format so you can fuck with it more.

What's your budget? Sounds like you'll be doing mostly landscapes?
Eh aps-c sensors are more than enough for most people. I've been using a 5div for years, picked up a Fuji xt3 last year and now mostly shoot with that. Then again I primarily shoot street. For studio or commissioned work I'd use the 5div.

Naw. I just assumed it was a hack/redirect and got busy at work. a_skeleton_03 thought I was part of the whole IRB/Keg nonsense too. Fact is, I am a techno-moron. I'm super good at design programs but total shit at anything IT related. I worked in a call center when I was a teenager and was probably the worst tech on the floor. Quit after 3 months to go cook at a dope burrito place.
